Thanks Nick, does sound like bearings would be a must as well. I assume there are savings on OEM seals and bearings purchased off shore? Anyone know of the best sites? UK or US?

Either way you'll need a diff builder so check with them what they suggest.

Hi guys,

Unfortunately Tenji is unavailable to continue heading up this group buy but I will take it over for him and organise the purchase.

I have the names of those that have registered for this and will PM you soon to organise payment. We have the minimum 5 registered so I suggest that anyone that is thinking about it to PM me soon.

Once payment has been made by all that have already registered we will go ahead with the purchase.

hey guys,
for those of us with the welded lsd, does anybody know whether we can get a ring gear (from, for example, a wrecker) and use this ring gear and the aftermarklet lsd in our diffs?
thanks

Hi Damien, any updates on this? Where payment has to go to, who is the local contact, etc? Can we get a bigger discount for say 10? If there is already six takers including myself I might be able to drum up a bit more business over at Ozaudi.

thanks

Don

I'm interested, how difficult to install in early 07 335i auto? Can normal workshop do this?
Anyone tried?

PM Sent.

I have read that its ok to do yourself if you have the experience so normal workshop should be fine with it but I guess a diff shop would be the ultimate.

I have sent PM's to all that registered with Tenji to get this underway.

To anyone else thinking about it, we have the minimum number and once payments have been made in full the order will be fulfilled.

MFactory can also supply new Bearings for an extra $260

Confirming that the Group Buy is $850 shipped.
Lead time is about 7 - 10 days from when all payments clear.

For those who have not been following our US threads, we have the following updates:

- 3.08 Welded Solutions are now ready. We can't ship the entire pumpkin, but we can ship the LSD + Machined Ring/Pinion to you
- DCT/335d Welded Solutions should be ready in a couple of weeks. However, due to difficulty in finding cores, you would have to ship us your Diff + Ring/Pinion for us to modify
- MFactory Flywheel + SPEC Clutch packages available at unbeatable prices

Please email our AU Office for prices: evan @ teammfactory.com

Ok I have messaged mfactory to confirm what diff model I need.

My build date is E91 December 2007 so it appears to be a small bolted diff, but I have no idea how to pick which model #.

But I assume it is the same as everyone elses.

I know of a owner who based on his build date assumed he had a small diff, yet when advan took it apart he actually had the large type.

My advice would be to take pics of the diff (jack the car up) and send pics to mfactory to confirm what diff you have 1st.

I need a small bolted LSD, if they'll give a price in USD for the buy.
