We'll see how Eagles are looking going in to the Christmas Eve game. Theyve got to play the Giants and the rising Bears the next 2 weeks, and i could see them losing one of those. Christmas Eve vs the Cowboys could very well be for the division, and if Cowboys win out, they would hold the tie breaker over the Eagles if they both finish 14-3.
As a biased Vikes fan I pretty much agree with you on your Vikes take. If that Dallas game had been a close game, or a win I think I would disagree. But I'm so conflicted having watched so many situations late in games where we keep pulling it out so who knows. I see them as the #2 seed going into the playoffs and we'll see what happens. Playing the Eagles or Dallas in the playoffs scares me. I came into the season thinking that just getting into the playoffs would be a nice goal/improvement over the last couple seasons. Then I thought that a deep playoff/superbowl run wouldn't be feasible until a couple years into the new leadership so as a fan I can't complain.

First time I have watched Bucs all year. Their offensive line is terrible. Explains a lot. Saints line up 4 and it looks like an all out blitz.

Edit: Brady goated that one out.

Dallas' perpetual hard-on for OBJ is an indicator that they believe the team is just not good enough as it currently stands. They've been absolutely dominant recently, one of the best teams in the NFL. I think JJ secretly thinks the Eagles are just a bit better, top to bottom. But, he nor the seemingly billions of fans will never admit that publicly.

You can squash the bullshit hateraid you're chugging.

Eagles are indeed good. I give them their props. Better than Dallas right now? Nah bruh. Dallas wasn't at full strength the first meet. Holler back at me after Christmas Eve...

In my fantasy football league this week I was playing a team that had Brady as their QB. My team was done for the week, and my opponent had just Brady left to play on Monday night. I went into the game leading by 17 points; Brady scored 17.14 points. It would have only been 16.74 points if that Godwin TD would have counted but it was called back because of the offensive holding penalty. Absolutely brutal....

Like Collinsworth was saying during the game, he wants to see perennial pro bowler Tyron Smith back at left tackle and see Tyler Smith moved to guard.

Latest report Tyron Smith is returning to practice this week.

Absolutely. And let's not also forget... Dak actually owns the Eagles overall mstchups: 7-3
Should Dallas lose to them in a couple of weeks, I'll be the first to admit, they aren't ready or worthy.

signing OBJ would be for added depth and flexibility. Similar to how the Rams brought him in last year. He wouldnt be starting over Lamb or Gallup. His playing time would cut in to Noah Brown's playing time. Never a bad thing to add another wr in a league where passing is king.

but, latest reports coming out today that his knee isnt ready, and probably wont be ready till mid/late january, if at all this season, pretty much tells us that OBJ probably isnt going to one of these teams wanting to add depth for the playoffs.

im out on OBJ. Probably wont be ready to play this year. And if he is, wouldnt be ready till WC/Divisional round. I dont want any wr that is going to be getting his 1st game reps in the playoffs coming off a major injury.

Ed Werder:
Source: The #Cowboys have concerns after Odell Beckham Jr.’s physical that his recovery from torn left ACL in Super Bowl has not progressed enough to ensure he would play before mid-January and possibility exists signing him would have no benefit until 2023 season.

Dak has had some good games against the Eagles, but that 7 - 3 record is also tainted by a couple of wins in 'garbage time' when we either had a playoff bye locked up (2017), or were already packed up for our tee times (2020).

Most seasons, the intra-NFC East games are slug-fests between the four of us, even when one team is significantly better than the other three against the rest of the NFL

(like the Eagles are this year ).

Someone on tv(can't remember who it was) was doggin on the NFC East, he said majority of their wins have come against the terrible AFC South.

I looked it up, NFC East is 11-1 against the AFC South.

So you're saying they're 23-12 against everyone else... Not bad. Especially considering 6 of those losses came head to head

Hope the Bengals can get the monkey off their back this weekend against the Browns. Definitely need the win to stay in stride with the Ravens.

Dak didnt play 2020

One of his losses is also the same. he played a series in a meaningless week 17 game and we ended up lossing with our 3rd string playing most the game.

overall though, outside of week 16/17 games, Dak is still 5-1 vs eagles. And overall, i like his chances vs the nfc east where he is 26-6 for his career and hasnt lost to the nfc east since 2019 week 16

Eagles are good this year, dont get me wrong. But with Dak in the game, its not going to look anything like what it did earlier this season.

I’m basically all out of hope because I would be shocked if the Giants can win 2-3 more games to guarantee a playoff spot. Lock it up they lose today against the Eagles and at the Commodores next Sunday night. Looks like I’ll be jumping in on with my local Hialeah buddies on the Dolphins bandwagon or should I say the Jets??
