Thanks for your input! would you recommend just switching from COBB v3 to jb4 for map 5 auto tuning? Wouldn't i just be able to get the BMS Meth kit + JB4 with map 5 and call it good? Can i use JB4 map 5 on top of my COBB stage 2+ FMIC map or do I have to uninstall COBB stage 2 ecu flash to run JB4 map 5?

With bias I don't believe in piggybacks, your not going to make more power than a flash only tune

potentially dumb question. So I'm running Cobb stage 1 sport ST map. Stage 1 aggressive map is for us 93 octane; here in Canada, we have 94 octane but I heard that it's equivalent to us 91? Is this true? Are we able to run the aggressive map with Canadian 94 octane? Car is 2011 335is

So I've seen a few posts on here of old ROM's for example version IGD0S "and that you really want to upgrade to IJE0S."

My question is - I'm already on Cobb Stage 1 + FMIC and really enjoying it. Am I taking some kind of hit performance wise or reliability wise not being on the suggested latest ROM version but already tuned?

Yes, a friend of mine is the co-founder of that company.

Their tunes are not performed via any Cobb product.

I can vouch for the quality of all of their products and programming.

Why is Cobb V3 stage 1 agressive slower than stage 1 sport? I got 93 octane.

Just go to Stage 2 aggressive sport if you have the bolt ons already. You won't regret it. A protune eventually will give you the most out of your Cobb Tune. Plan for that in the future if budget allows.

This +1!! Stg 2 Aggressive makes the other tunes look like Grandfathers walking with canes and walkers by comparison.

490ish whp but if I was you I wouldn't focus too much on dyno numbers though as they do not reflect what a car does in real world conditions.

It is absolutely dangerous to run fuel that is not designated by the tune or tuner.

If your using the COBB AP just switch to one of their pump gas maps that's already installed on the AP or get a custom tune for pump gas.

Is this the right place on the forum to ask for help with reading a data log? I suspect my car is running rich with the cobb tune ( I've been told that various "stage X" maps run rich) and I just want to see if I'm on the right track. Data log is from an '07 335i 4th gear from 2500 rpm to redline. Aftermarket parts are as follows, berger intake cones, vrsf catless downpipes, AA signature exhaust.

Currently have a 2012 335is N54 with Cobb stage 1 tune. I currently have the VRSF 5 inch FMIC, Injen DCI, and VRSF CP.

I was planning to add VRSF Catless DPs and then go stage 2. I apologize if this is a dumb question... but I was wondering if I needed to upgrade my FMIC to the 7 inch version or would I be okay with my current 5 inch? Also would I need to upgrade anything else before going stage 2? Thanks!

Your 5 inch FMIC is fine at stage 2. You need to pick the correct gas 91( i see your in cal.) and then do a few logs to make sure everything is OK.

Hello,

I kept getting a p29f2 code whenever my boost would get to 11/12 psi. I just installed a new hpfp and I still have this problem. I took a look at my pressure in both lpfp and hpfp and they're exactly the same, which is telling me that my new hpfp is not pressurizing the fuel. Should I return the hpfp and try a new one or is there something else I should be looking at? Someone suggested my fuel pressure regulator and fuel pump in the back seat of the car but according to the guage I'm getting proper psi on the lpfp.
