Guys I am planning to drive to Chicago from Minneapolis next weekend 2/11. What are the road conditions like and is it easy to get around downtown Chicago? Do you expect roads to be better by next weekend or should I think about postponing my trip? I am planning to drive my M3 for your reference. I appreciate the inputs.

Thanks for the input. I am just worried that I will make it there but will basically be limited to the hotel because of the conditions.

This is Chicago....a major city in the midwest where harsh winter conditions are common. This was extreme, but you are talking about a full week. You will be able to get around. Even so, if you are staying downtown, trains and cabs, feet will be able to get you just about anywhere of interest.
