Well, when shooting black cars, black cars tend to loose the cars details (i.e. curves, lines, extrusions). And plus when your forced to shoot a black car with the sun out, the shadow somewhat blends in with the car.

White cars are harder to shoot because when you are metering on the camera, the camera believes there is plenty of light (because the car is white) but there actually isin't any extra light. Its just that the camera thinks the white car is light. And with white cars, you tend to get a blown out / washed out color

I actually have to go do some editing on my desktop right now. I'll send you the picture in like 5mins Andy. Oh and i'll post a picture of what i've been working on. Let me know what you guys think.

There was a LOT of editing to the photo, but the owner seemed to want the editing (i.e. clear headlights, body colored reflector, etc)
