I was told by a store (and not sure if this is true) that Rolex is replacing all movements within the steel watches to something newer. Once this is done; the market supply will once again rise greatly.

I think that holds some value considering GMT MASTER II also benefited a fancier and longer movement in power reserve wise . DJ II was first steel model to ever been equipped with the new movement if I recall correctly .

Skeptical. They just replaced the movement in the SD and Deep Sea. Sounds like an excuse.

One more question... before these boom times that we r currently in, what sort of discounts were people seeing on the no date and date SS subs? Will this be realistic again in the future? Someone told me they got 15-20% back in the day... I found that hard to believe.

I bought the ND so naturally that's what I would say. I prefer the cleaner look, no cyclops and don't want or need a date feature on my watch. I'm also not a fan of the larger watches, 4o mm suits me just fine. Good luck

Possibly looking to sell my sub. Buying a new house and could use the extra funds
Putting a feeler out there. Any offers? Watch is in great condition. Have box and all the papers. I know i can sell it do Davis S W for around 7100 -7500 i think without issue.
