Ok so the plan was to work our how the M4 seats go in and get them fully working.
Well it didn't happen. I sold the M4 interior as got a good offer for them from an M2 owner ![]() I loaded up the X5 with the M4 interior to drop it off at D:Class for the new owner (as even though they were mint, he wanted them redone in dakota leather to match the M2 factory leather ![]() ![]() Just a little full: ![]() Well after driving all that way, it would have been rude not to go a little further to Southampton and swap my M3 from seats for something different ![]()

So after a couple of hours swapping over the seats and chatting. I made the long journey home.
Couldn’t wait to fit the new seats in. And here they are: ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() Genuine BMW Performance Seats. In leather/alcantara so matches the rest of the Perf bits I have. Just need to sort out the seat occupancy bypass for the airbag (or code it out properly) and fit the new loom from my parts lady that’s required to get the heating working (not that I’m in a rush for that just yet lol). Hope you like.

I don't know what to say. I think I've come across this thread a few times but just went through most of it again and I'm amazed. Just wish you drove the car more. I'm for enjoying cars not leaving them in the garage no matter how beautiful but still - WOW! You have put together one amazing vehicle.

Long time no hear. Hope you're well brother. Your love for the car clearly shows - I am head over heels with this build. It is absolutely incredible. 1st dibs on the Perf seats pls if you get rid! Haha! What a beautiful machine man! |

PLEASE can I buy your car off you? Haha. Well done man.
Can I ask a quick question with regards to your headlights? When you changed the FRM module, was it just a simple exchange of hardware? Or did you need to do anything with software/coding? If so, what exactly needs to be done? |

Hey everything has a price, so make me an offer I can’t refuse lol.
It’s both hardware and software buddy. The FRM had to be coded to the car to ensure the vin etc were coded correctly. Then just the options coded too, so both front/rear daytime running lights which were also set brighter on the AE’s in standard off position.

Okay I see. The issue I am having is that I cannot code the angel eyes to run as DRLs because I have an early FRM module. I think it was FRM2 onwards that this option was possible. It's because I have a 2006 model. So, if I purchase the new module, then I just need to code it to the car and then I can select the desired options. |

Hey Raj
Would you mind posting a coupe of pics of the exterior of the car? I have to go back quite a few pages to see some general exterior shots ACD always lose track of where they are in the thread! Thanks bro |

As he’s coded it to run as such then I’m not as fussed about the options in idrive but just glad they are active now anyway and so much brighter.
