Hey you guys running oil in your car that is not BMW's oil, you do know if something were to go wrong with your car internally and you are still under warranty, they send your oil off to a lab to make sure it is BMW oil and if it isnt they void your warranty!

I run Mobil 1 0w-40 Euro Blend.. I've run Royal Purple's equivalent also. It's true they could void your warranty because of this, although I haven't heard of a case of this happening yet. It's far more likely you blew the engine, turbo, etc.. because of something else - tune, etc, etc - than the actual oil causing an issue.

Does anyone in Pittsburgh have the name of a good speed shop? I just purchased a set of ast 4100 coilovers and typically I'd attempt the install myself but being that winter is right around the corner I think I may just pony up and have someone else do it.

It's not the money that bothers me about the install, I've just had bad luck over the years when I have someone else do work on my car. I always worry about someone cutting a corner and causing me hassle down the road. So if anyone has any experiences at specific shops I'd appreciate some feedback.

Took a long drive today to AK Motorwerk in Hillsborough, NJ for my DP install, DP fix, and got some coding done (group buy pricing.) 5 hour drive! Met Alex and Kevin-they're great guys. Saw alot of nice E90s while I was there

lol i guess i found a shop to go to when i have lots of mods to install ill go to them. sucks that pittsburgh doesnt have tuner shops for bmw's.

No, didnt think I would see so many cars, but Alex must of coded at least 6 while I was there-3 others having parts installed.

A lot of people were shocked that there's no local BMW shop. (Plus, I wanted someone with previous DP install experience)

I am sick and tired of these referee's!!!!! Calling BS penalties against the Steelers and Heath Miller is lucky he didnt suffer severe injuries and nothing called!!!!!!!! Someone has to call these ASSHOLES OUT!!!!!!!

Well its always good when I can see the Steelers play!!! and even better when they win!

But Chapel Hill is great, really liking it so far. Already started training twice a day so its a much better situation than what I was workin with back home. Im excited to see what kind of results come out of it cause Im hopin for big things!

Downfall, we did get about an inch or so of snow yesterday... wasnt quite expecting that already haha. Still supposed to be back close to 60 this week though. Ohh and I got season tickets to the UNC basketball games so Im pretty pumped about that!
