That's where I know it from...not sure why they came up with golf balls.

Oddly, though I made the comment, I've never seen that video either - just the signs

All I can say is that if your shit is equivalent to a bucket of golf balls, you probably should lay off the red meat.

Kohler's AquaPiston flush system is great even though it probably can't flush 12 golf balls. It has yet to get backed up even once in the 2 years or so I've had them so far.

"the wife".... lol.
By the way, the last thing I want is a freaking toilet that shakes the house, especially if someone flushes it during the middle of the night.

The piping in north america is WAY too small. Everyone I know has had clogging issues, i swear the pipes are half the size they are in OZ.

The difference is that North America uses siphonic toilets, whereas Europe and other areas use washdown toilets:

The benefits/pitfalls to both designs (ie, skid marks) are described here:

There's not enough flush either, at home the water comes in from all sides, crashing and making a general rukus. Here it's like a gulping sound, not a lot of washing machine so to speak, it's fucking weird.

Kohler toilets with AquaPiston flush system will almost never get backed up and it uses a siphonic design.

Washdown's "pitfalls" are mostly bullshit there. It's WAY easier to clean a toilet ("hands-free": just apply a dedicated chemical from the bottle, no rubbing) than to de-clog one! When in US I had to discard used toilet paper as dry garbage (I felt guilty!) instead of just flushing it down.

Great find at a garage sale. Bought two practically new bikes for $50 (!)
An older couple were selling their house and moving into a condo and were getting rid of a lot of possessions for cheap. When they bought the bikes a few years back, they had a lot of good intentions of riding etc... But the bikes remained unused in their garage.

I'm keeping one for use on my trainer after I fit a road tire in the back for a smoother ride. ( That was annoying with my TREK.) And gave the other one to a young 15 yrs old girl who's mother is a patient of mine. They are not well off and this was her very first bicycle. She cried, I cried. We all cried.

That's a great find LJ, I love a bargain myself and it's heartwarming knowing you gave the other bike to that not so well off girl.

Thumbs up

Lucky Brand have been my favorite Blue Jeans fire the last 20 years or so.
I also wear Silver, Joe's and Levi's.
But this particular pair of Lucky are some of the most comfortable jeans I've ever bought! I thought this "cool max" on the tag was a gimmick. But they actually are on to something here....

Curious, what made you chose Husqvarna over Stihl?

It was hard!
The Stihl is a pound lighter. But the Husky has an outboard clutch, which lines the blade up closer to the middle of the body, making it handle a little better.
Then this guy on Youtube said the Stihl is more like a Ferrari in performance & power delivery, and the Husky more like an American muscle car with a little broader power spread. This might be better for me, since we always have many kinds of trees falling on the property.
Both have dealers sort of near me up north, so a draw there. If I didn't pay my $$ yesterday, there's a chance I would be buying the Stihl tomorrow, though. Both are kick-arse!

Which camp are you in?
