I would get rid of the runflats before putting the bushings in. General ride quality isn't affected too much but sharp/fast bumps are certainly more noticeable on the stock dampers. The stock suspension seems to rely on the soft bushings to absorb the fast bumps transmitted by the runflats. It doesn't help that the stock dampers don't really seem to react fast enough. Some people might find it a bit much on rough roads. Your upgraded dampers are better/react faster and may make it a non issue though.

I tried to buy the bushings from eBay but its out of stock, seems like everyone on here jumped on them as soon as Socket got his haha

Ozie Spares still had them in stock, so I bought them from there, $3 more expensive than the eBay listing

Also do you know if rear brake lines have enough slack to lower the subframe for this job? Or do I need to disconnect them and bleed the system later?
Hey guys get your own thread lol

Bumper is a M3 rep purchased from EuroDivision here in Melbourne
No lip, plastidipped vents (love em or loathe em)
Fitment was spot on, a small gap around headlights near the kidney grills
Got the M3 skirts and Msport bumper at the same time, all painted and fitted by a local workshop... came out nice (see post 56 page 3)

Looks so much nicer than the ratty old belts!

But man, do not use an allen key for this sort of stuff! Stuff related to safety like seatbelts you should use a socket and torque wrench. If you need any torques or procedures, just let me know and ill look it up on ISTA for you.

Can't stress how important tightening torques are. Very very important for something like seatbelts! If they are not done up right you might find the seatbelt breaking off in a crash or something

No excuses Buy a torx socket set, if you can't wait for shipping from ebay you can buy this stuff from bunnings:

I'll take more pics after work today, this is the only pic of my interior I have on my phone now..

This was taken the day I bought the car, since then I've changed the wood trim to aluminium (the one that comes stock with M Sport pack equipped cars).

And I've changed the crappy 6MT gear knob with a F10 M5 illuminated weighted ZHP 6MT gear knob!

Third attempt uploading a pic of my two tone interior, the iPhone app is useless

This photo is from the day I picked up the car, since then I changed the woodgrain trim with aluminium, and got rid of the crappy stock gear knob for a F10 M5 illuminated weighted ZHP 6MT leather gear knob

hey sock - did you end up sorting out and eliminating the turbo flutter after installing the vtt inlets? Am considering getting them but just worried car will flutter too much. Although I have DV setup so should be quieter hopefully

Thanks

Thanks mate this is exactly what I have in mind
I could do with a hand replacing the dashboard, its probably the most difficult of all the bits.... that and replacing the inlays of the door panels

Nope not yet,
According to the turbo specialist I spoke to he thinks the RBs, VTTs and modified compressor discharge pipe in combo with 25 boost might be producing too much air flow??? wtf..... not sure what he's talking about.
We are going to put it on the dyno to check things out.. also I have noticed the puff of smoke which I hope is not the dreaded RB issue, Ill get the guys to watch my tailpipes on the weekend drive... might be with the extra kit, its showing up worn rings or something.... might end up doing the same upgrade as DAT if it is

mmmmm okay

I have bought the hscp of justin as well when i ordered the hexon rr600s. Now im wondering whether I should install that along with the inlets or not. I know max power will be achieved with inlets + hscp but man i dont want the BM to sound like a vl turbo lol

:

By the way hope the smoking is no big issue
