Yes, the G28, in electric form or otherwise, is unlikely to be sold outside of China.

Instead, we should expect an electric 3 Series when the next generation arrives in late 2025. It is rumored to move to the Neue Klasse architecture at that time, which is exclusively for BEV and PHEV vehicles.

The LCI for X3/X4 will happen this summer, but apparently it will be announced later separately - as classically LCI is a bigger change than just a "normal" MY revision and BMW will for sure advertise it as "the new X3 and X4" while being only LCI. SOP for the LCI is indicated 08/2021 in the OP, so maybe it will not happen yet in July, but I'm not sure about that - often LCIs during summer happen in July.

@ynguldyn could you please confirm if EOP for i3 is still 06/22? We're looking to custom build one in US and my CA tells me that 2021 is the EOP and that currently no dealers in the whole country have any new i3 production allocations, so basically we have to get whatever inventory is available!!! I find it extremely hard to believe that no new i3 is gonna come to the US if EOP is one year away…

US EOP is tricky in that any model could disappear from the US market even if it continues production for other countries. So I'd trust the CA in this case.

FWIW, the german site Next Move also claimed the i3 will stop production this year some weeks ago.

No. But I get the SOPs no later than a year before the date so I can safely say this model is not coming before July '22.

Maybe it's in these 53 pages somewhere, but where are we in the M8 life cycle? Will there be an LCI?

And it looks like
G14 8er - 06/25
G15 8er - 06/25
G16 8er - 06/25

That's probably close to the M4 LCI time. And if they decide to push through with a new M8 coupe that probably won't be til 2026 at least.

4er/M4 LCI is March 2024 per OP.

It wasn't absolutely clear to me what you were referring to with the pronoun "That's" - the March 2023 date in the part you quoted or the June 2025 date in your own post. But neither are necessarily close to the March 2024 date.

It also wasn't clear what the 4er/M4 has to do with the 8er/M8 in the first place, but I trust you were going somewhere meaningful with that, so carry on.

Of course I was. Early debating between an M4 LCI vs M8 for my next car

Production dates for XM (hopefully the correct ones this time), a few other minor things.

And the X5/6M Competition models? Very appreciated for what you do ynguldyn!
March 2021
Competition models (as opposed to Comp package) of X5M and X6M are coming.
• An obvious bit: BMW is planning to have designs celebrating 50 years of M GmbH for multiple models with production dates between March 2022 and March 2023.
