I wouldn't say spending $6 for sealing up something right is over solving a problem. It's better than having to take it back apart after getting an exhaust leak. The OEM one is about same cost and is a ring without ears.

I know I'm full of questions but which ID is needed?

I'm not sure about that bolt hole center to center (didn't see it on the site) but you'd want the 3" I.d. Which is part number 1458

Amigos I have been informed that RS speedworks has a so Called SPIDER to help reflash the ECU once its has lost its tune. This info was provided to me by a certain member and as usual Im curious to this so, Im calling out JR to enlighten us on this cause this could be beneficial to all of those people buying their product, Please JR what is this new thing?

Thanks man, I just lost my tune due to bmw reflashing all of my old software to new versions due to CEL and other errors. I only had the tune for like 2 weeks.. really sucks! I'm not sure what kind of spider it is but hopefully a helpful one

Was looking into this the other day and it iss a product from flashtec (www.flashtec.ch). It is basically a piggback circuit board that they (a dealer/distributer) solders to your ecu so that you or a remote programmer may program your car via OBD. You can buy the complimentary product of theirs (MPF-My Personal Flasher). You can tune your car remotely via tunes uploaded to a cloud server best i can tell. JR outta CA is using it as well. Available for windows and Android.

Even though I just dropped around 1200 to get rid of these run flats I'd consider it. Would like to see the hp/mpg gains first.

Look no further than post 874 for hp and torque gains. TDI, if I recall correctly, reported about a 1.5 to 2 mpg increase. He may want to provide further info. He gave an early report within a few days after switch over.

Dblog even w a tne and bigger ic you hv better mpg . Once egr dpf are removed mpg will increase considerably just tdi iaknown and other. I can attest that w RENNtech flash and Wagner IC hwy mpgs have increased

Anybody built/already bought the EGR delete for their car? I know all this talk is about dpf but i'm concerned too about the EGR dumping all that junk into my intake. I saw that a seller on ebay had the Allard one for our cars but don't see it now. Sent the guy and even allard an email but neither have responded. Seems like a good product if could get one. Does the ecotune flash do egr & scr off?
