Got it! lol! No problem! As long as everything is fixed now. I guess my butt dyno is pretty accurate. lol! I knew there was some loss in power.

On the way home while I was going 80, I slammed on the gas and I lost traction. Damn, I need some new wheels and tires. These RFT's have no traction whatsoever.

The tune is PERFECT (knock on wood). I was running the shit out of it, on the way home on Saturday. No limp modes or anything close to it. The car is running perfectly. My temps never went past 250 either and I don't have an oil cooler. I guess it's also due to the fact that the temp outside was around 30 degrees. But I will definitely be getting the FMIC before summer comes. I don't want to loose any boost. lol!

Monster... oh yes.. A guy that lives around the corner from me has a zo6. Not sure the exact year, but its no newer then 03. We usually leave in the morning around the same time. I live in a gated community so there’s only 2 ways in and out and we always leave through the same exit. He always flies down the local high dipping pass cars. I usually let him be since I'm still half asleep. I decided to play with him a little this morning. We’re next to each other at a red light. I gun it in regular D mode on green. I’m not sure if he just wasn’t expecting me to be as fast as I was and took it light, but I was ahead of him by at least 2 car lengths up to about 70 when I slowed down to exit. Wasn’t long of a run or anything official, but it was nice to see the look on his face when I was about to exit. I know its been beaten to death already, but people really will be happy with this tune.

Where do you live in JC? I just moved down there last week, around the Paulus Hook area. If you are available, maybe I can stop by and check out the tune sometime?

I'm curious where you guys found the space in JC for that, ahem, attache testing
I used to live in Newport for 5 years before I moved further out, not many options in that area for...testing...unless you go towards 440.

I'm glad to hear that you guys are happy with the tune.

So have you guys decided on how you are going to handle updates yet as far as it being mail in or having user updates?

Bimmer335,

Did you feel less power from Idle to 2.5K after the Progman update?

TT, When will the AT version be available for us in California. And finally can you shed a bit of light on how easy or involved the wiring will be. Im a current SSTT user but want more pwer down low.

Thanks and it sounds like you guys are doing a great job.

we wont be releasing user tweakable units. these maps are tuned and tested perfectly using dataloggers, gauges and wideband sensors over periods of weeks to months. there are no adjustments neccesary by end users. if there are changes necessary we can implement them for the end user. we will continue to update our map library which currently includes:

stock/valet
91 octane manual
91 octane automatic
93 octane manual
93 octane automatic
93 octane FMIC

future maps will be developed for:
FMIC for all octane levels and trans types.
downpipe for all octane levels and trans types.
FMIC+Downpipe for all octane levels and trans types.
BIG turbo mapping

Any news on the specifics of the "switch" to go back to a stock map?
I'm sure I'm not alone when I REALLY hope that
#1 - It's somehow integrated into the usage of something already in the car (i.e. pressing the gas pedal all the way down with just the ignition power on, etc).
#2 - If #1 is not true, to not be drilling holes or cutting anything to add a switch....or running wires inside the cabin which gets to be a minor PITA.

Keep up the good work!

30 degrees on runflats? After my experiences in upper 20s this past weekend.. it's completely possible. Runflats below freezing are absolutely GRIPLESS

all the switch needs is to be is 1 wire grounded out to chassis ground. how an end user wants to accomplish this is up to them. its very easy to run the wires into the glove box to do this and keep it stealth.

Like I said, I have the stock 17" RFTs and they have the shittiest traction. All I am doing is letting you guys know what happened to the car when I floored it at 80mph. I was not racing anybody, but just wanted to see if I got my power back. And when I floored it, the car pulled and I noticed that my traction symbol lit up for a moment. If I have a chance, I will do it again to see if there is any loss in traction or if it was the road that was uneven (which I doubt, since it was on 295, but who knows ) that caused the symbol to light up. Btw, not sure if it makes a difference, but I left the DSC on.

we saw no real change with intake as the factory dme can adjust for more minor changes like that. I would think exhaust would react the same as the factory part isnt bad at all.
