My very first car was a BMW.... it was a used 1970-something E21 that had rust issues, smelled like bowling alley, and took about 20 seconds to get to 60mph. Neutral dropping the automatic was the only way to get the tires to spin, so I had as much fun as I could doing that for a few months until the transmission imploded.

My next victim was a used MKII GTI 5spd and I had fun driving that into the ground literally as I plowed into a dirt embankment in the rain. I spent a summer shredding front tires doing standstill burnouts in parking lots. I tried to teach my friend how to drive stick in it. After awhile it stopped shifting into 1st so I had to get rid of it.

Then I got my first brand new car, a shiny new Civic EJ1 5spd. We cut the springs in my friend's garage, changed the lightbulbs, got a shift knob, you know, all the baller stuff a high schooler could do.

Spun the Civic in a street race on a windy road. This was years before The Fast and The Furious, so it was cutting edge

Man, those were fun times!

Haha, it's a PC graphics card, there is a huge shortage of them at this time, they're selling for double online. I was able to snag one for MSRP after joining a waiting list.

The one it's replacing is actually water cooled, comes with a small radiator.

Ok, received my new levers today, they look kinda spacey and futuristic but should improve driving very well - unfortunately the SOB of a seller attached the wrong adapters to make them fit for my bike, so I have to return them and waiting for the right ones, bummer

When that happened to my first car I took my chance to learn/practise driving a hard-core, non-synchronised manual.

And I got stuck a few times before I realized I needed that "technique" to engage the reverse gear in my brand new BMW (it ran in very quickly though).
