Well, all of a sudden the better half piped up with; I'm tired of pizza...
How can someone be tired of Pizza is beyond my comprehension. No problemo, it will be in the Thursday night concoction rotation. P.S.: The other half is already on its way to the septic tank  |

Tenderized and breaded butterfly-cut chicken breast stuffed with a mix of Italian deli and four cheese Italian blend. With Orso and diced tomatoes.

Beef and broccoli stir fry, with some sausage thrown in for good measure. Do not adjust the tint on your picture tube.. the rice is black in color.. Lundberg black pearl rice..

Veggie entree tonight. Braised fennel and potatoes. Recipe from Bruno Albouze.
1 medium-large fennel bulb with 2 inches of stalks 3-4 small potatoes EVOO butter salt and pepper 1/2c chicken stock or bouillon cube + 1/2 c water tamari or soy sauce Slice fennel bulb thinly, chop stalks. Quarter potatoes. Heat oil and butter, add fennel and sautee for 10 minutes, stirring often. Add potatoes and sautee for 5 minutes, stirring often. Add stock and tamari, cover and simmer until potatoes are done, approximately 20 minutes. Correct seasoning, plate and serve. Outstanding flavor and texture. Satisfying. And healthy! |
