DYI: Easiest way to get 1b file and generate FSC codes for CIC navi map update

Shawn-I downloaded and successfully used an FSC generator from another site to update my 2013 X5 from 2013 maps to 2021 maps, but the newest update for North America that it supports is 2021. I'd like to update my X5 and 2010 550i to the 2023 Premium update I just downloaded....is there an FSC generator that's updated to load the latest maps?

Thanks for the quick response. Not quite sure how to use the file you sent me....would it be easier to just get you the VINs and have you generate the codes for the two vehicles?

Hi there,

First of all, thanks for sharing. I am running into an issue whereby the Generator doesn't have the latest maps. The latest one i can select in the Generator is (Europe West 2022-1).

The generator prompt an error message the first time i openend it, which said something like (failed downloading lookup)... something like that.

Is there somehow a way to rectify this? i succeeded in retrieving the (1b.hex) file and i have the map downloaded already. All i need to do is generate this code for Europe West 2024-1 MAP.

I am new to all of this, so excuse my long post.

I have tried multiple time FAT32 formatting the usb, even have used 3-4 different USB sticks and nothing helped me in generating the 1b file with the copie_scr.sh file. My VIN is G719987, and I am trying to update the EUROPE WEST NEXT 2023-1 Road map.
Can someone please help me in generating the FSC lifetime.
I even tried the FSC generator with only VIN but that also is giving me invalid code while I update in the car.

1B is for CIC. Your NBT does not have a 1B File. And FSC Generator does not work by VIN. PM sent.
