View post on imgur.com (don't mind the unplugged clip in front of where the original airbox was. It's back on just forgot to do it for the pic.)Grtting ready for COBB Stg 1/2 (dp and fmic just arrived yesterday). Installed my DCI, changed the spark plugs. I'm a sad panda though cause I think I need to look into a VCG job @ 44k miles boo Car still had BMW plugs but plug 2 and 3 had a little oil on 'em/in the plug well. Rest looked OK . Plug 6 was kinda blackish. Job was easier than I thought. Idk about doing the VCG myself. There is a ton of shit hooked up over and around it. On a side note I snapped the bolt that holds the coolant tank to the chassis ( I was stupid and tried to test my new torque wrench on it cause I was trying to make sure it clicked, I know dumb idea lol). Its still pretty stable but that bummed me out. Not sure how to take it out and fix. Last edited by e92_enthusiast_1; 06-21-2014 at 04:53 PM.. |

Why bother? Caliper paint is cheap, sprays easily and says is good up to 5 million degrees (I forget what it says). Just buy the caliper paint.

Changed the oil/filter and gave the stinky pig a bath. I had to use 0W-40. The store had no 5W-40 or 15W-40, as Bentley suggests. Also added valve/injector cleaner on fill-up.
