I have a buddy that does a lot of importing also of toys up here in downtown.

as i said, it's on of the options my partners and I are looking into. I do not know where to start, or where to get info.

I found a pretty good info on chinese imports to get pricing and stuff, but i am not feeling that info is sufficient.

im at a point where i do not even know what questions to ask yet :/

Well we do importing from Chinese Factories and Korean companies as well.
what are you going to be importing/exporting?
