Mind the mess, interior needs detailed
Where can I find this? Preferably without the M colours

Did some coding. Now I have this feature on both my E91 and E87 with FRM1.

I finally did the ashtray/cigarette lighter removal and replaced it with the glasses tray. Nice clean look, plus it becomes functional.....

Adding new clearcoat to my car

My poor E90 has been peeling clear coat on the hood, roof, and tail. So I started my sanding down the bad areas on the hood, and spraying 2k clearcoat on it. Let it dry for 3 weeks, and then wet sanded it down and now am in the buffing stage to get the reflection back. Slow going. First 1500 wet sand, then 3000 sanding, now a wool buffer with orbital and rubbing compound. It's getting there. Not fun, but way cheaper than the thousands at the shop and a learning experience. 2006 325i. Once this is done I'll move to the roof and starting the sanding process again.

I've done plenty of cars. Once I re-spray my E92, I will have to do the entire thing! How is it working out so far? We you able to save it?

I got a new windshield put in today. Also car is in its final resting spot before I start tearing it down and putting all the new panels on!

Have the same car, did the same repair, saw oil in well #4. It was from spillage during an oil top-off. #3 and #4 will collect spilled oil. Hope that's all that happened on yours.

Did front and rear differential fluid. Maybe it's placebo but I feel like the car pulls harder. Doubt it has much of an effect on performance. Maybe I'll get a little bit better fuel economy if it's less viscous...

Mounted my license plate. I hate the look of the tiny BMW screws with big washers so I found some countersunk dress up washers and screws.

Untitled by Nick Wood, on Flickr

I was also able to secure the bottom of the plate first with the counter sunk screws and slide the frame over them, no more flappy plate.

I knew that 123456 was approaching but the drive between Nashville and Atlanta is like a NASCAR race and I had to concentrate on the road.

Not a damn thing. E90 sitting in the garage while the f30 is on the driveway while me and the CTS are in the tri-state area.

Today I went to the dealer to have the PCV recall done and a new tire mounted. The car does not have a shimmy anymore in the steering wheel. Then I retrofitted a power rear sunshade. Currently I am ozoning the car since the new sunshade came from a smoking car.

This week I will be retrofitting LCI license plate lights and my car will be ready to go to the Kies Motorsports show.

I love that frame. I was debating ordering one. I would probably cut it to be on the safe side. I have a real CF one that I cut because part of it was "Obscured" I just do not want to risk it.

It only covers the county but in Ga you have the option of getting the tag with "in god we trust" rather than the county so there isnt an issue with covering it. So far at least.

That's cool, but I never put anything on my plates. In my state, it's against the law, and therefore can be a reason for a cop to pull you over.
