actaully i don't think anything is up with the sidewalls. the sidwalls on the tires still look sturdy as hell. doesn't look flat @ all.

From the outside or inside?

Of course it will look fine from the outside (especially on a RFT). However, if you drove on it at around 10 PSI, is dead and will comprimise performance. I'll show you when we take it off.

i take ur word for it since u know more about this stuff then me.

btw i thot it took special instruments to mount RFT? or it's the same machinery as regular tires?

i did mine at peter pan not that long ago. tire replaced and alignment fixed. it was 640 ish total with the tire being about 420

once you lose the integrity of the sidewalls on an RFT, the wheel is compromise i needs to be replaced....
