I went and looked at this car yesterday. Needs a lot of work. Has really bad dent repair everywhere, needs paint, rear bumper, bodywork on driver side rear fender, front struts are going, bad front passenger wheel bearing, has 3 different bad brands of tires on it, etc etc. Just not taken care of. Dealer was pretty fixed on his 12.5k asking. It was a pass for me. Happy to answer any questions from someone considering a long trip for this guy. |

FWIW, I bought my 2007 E91 from Anytime Auto in early 2017 (92k miles, $8,700, AT, good options but no navigation). I wasn't overly impressed with the team there - it was a corner lot-type used car dealer. My E91 was clean, and I am overall a happy customer. It was missing floor mats, the rear cargo cover, both front strut tower braces, and in the engine the OFHG was leaking and the belt tensioner needed replacement. They split the cost of those repairs with me, but that did limit my negotiating room. None of those missing items may have been Anytime's fault, but it just seemed odd...

Also wondering will a "M-sport xdrive 6MT" reach reach a higher price point than that of a "non M-sport RWD 6MT"? |

I love this car, it gives me an idea of how CSL look in black as well. I am curious to the seller who posted above, where are you getting this information? " Finished in Alpine White over Saddle Brown Dakota Leather, this wagon is equipped with the M-Sport package and is reported to be one of three examples delivered to the US market from 2009-2012 in this combination. " My car has Oyster and I know its rare, but not one of 3 rare? I read some statistics on all 3 series sold that fewer than 10% of all 3 series sold from 2006-12 had oyster, but think I recall the saddle being right around that with 11 or 12% across all colors?? I'm not questioning your number, but rather would love to get your source to try and find out how many of Alpine white over oyster there are. |

It's hard to say, but BaT has valued E91's pretty well. There were 2 M Sport manuals that sold last year for $24,250 and $25,500 plus 5% buyer fee which puts them in line with what I've seen them trade for. FWIW I submitted my M Sport 6MT 128i to BaT with a reasonable reserve of 10k (ultimately sold it privately for mid-teens) and they flat rejected it, yet they put up an M2 that you can buy off almost any dealer's lot a couple weeks later, go figure. I've only seen them list 1M's so far, no 128 or 135 varients. On the 1 of x combination stuff, I've seen it published for a few other cars like 135is, but never E91. I have seen 473 or something along those lines as the number of RWD three pedal cars made through the production run. It doesn't make a difference as I love my car regardless, but I'd still like to know. In your case, I feel like I see more Saddle than Oyster. I think this car will sell for right around $20k with buyer's fee. Mileage + accident history should give some distance from the other M Sports listed last year. Xdrive is a wash since it's a must have for some and a must not for others. |

They look like style 359s, but the OEM style 359s are really really expensive forged wheels, so I'm thinking those are replicas. Avant Garde makes a replica for a quarter of the price, so I'm thinking that's what they are.

Yeah, it's about what I expected. I was hoping to go for it, but it quickly became apparent it was going to be over my budget.

$18,375 with buyer's fee.
It's still the cheapest I've seen a clean title M Sport 6MT go for. Mileage + AWD + accident history must have been factors. And to think a comparable e90 is going for around half that... EDIT: I'm secretly hoping prices are coming down as I want a red pre-LCI car to do an M3 front end conversion to. Last edited by E91WAG3N; 05-02-2018 at 07:12 PM.. |

I think it was mileage more then anything else, personally. AWD is a requirement for me but I know many prefer RWD. M3 conversion would be very cool. Wile Motorsport here in MA did a full E46 a few years ago. |
