Completely stock now. i have a 3rd party warranty.. going to see how this goes. They gave me a 328xi coupe.. makes me think i may need new shocks haha so slow though.

Surprisingly they are going to replace my hpfp even though i didn't go in for any problems with it. Have 72K miles and never been replaced, hopefully the new one doesn't give me any problems.

They are replacing for the recall and you might get some injectors also along with a software update.

At 70k plus miles, the shocks and struts are probably very tired. I put a different suspension on my 09 335 when I got it. so I have shocks & struts, springs, bushings, front and rear control arms with 1,100 miles on them sitting in my basement. My X5 with 52k on it starting to ride like crap so I will probably need shocks and struts on that soon.

Got the oil service prices clarified by two dealerships
It's $114 for an oil change at Dave Walter BMW and they will reset the indicator without the computer. The $89 or $99 offer was a limited time only.

Oil change is the same price at Kelly BMW but they insist that they need to read the codes on the computer and do a reset which is an additional $40 plus tax.

I had mine serviced at MAG this week. It only has 800 miles left on the warranty and they did quite a bit and only costs me $118.

I work real close to there and they took me to work as soon as I was ready. Would have picked me up too, but I got a ride from a coworker.

I refuse to pay somebody else to change my oil though. I already did it myself and it was not that hard at all. Had to get a new oil filter wrench that is a different size than any other car I have ever owned, but that was only about $10.

How often you guys changing your oil? I have mine marked for every 7500 miles. I used the Mobil 1 0W40 and bought it while on sale at NAPA.

Do a search for threads started by me. They did come thru in the end, but only after nearly a week of back and forth. Go in COMPLETELY stock. Who are you on CR?

Look into IPS Motorsports. They're in Lewis Center (north end of Columbus). They've done them before.

I went in stock.. not that mattered since my 3rd party warranty wouldn't pay for anything. Don't buy one just save the money you'd spend for repairs... lesson learned.

I have the same screen name on CR and other forums as well.

Yeah, I know what you mean about missing the summers. The 325i is set for the winter months. Had BMW Cleveland put a new battery in yesterday, got six years outta the original. Put the 330i away for winter two weeks ago.

Yeah, not only do we get lake affect from Erie, we get a little lake affect from Mosquito Creek Lake which just on the western border of town. But nothing like those folks out in Chardon and that neck of the woods.

SW Ohio checking in, this is my first rwd, turbo car, and am still getting used to it. Definitely a change in pace coming from a ML350.... I'll have to use it when the flakes start coming down...
