nah but for real, can you convert a diesel turbo over to petrol or no?

of course, a turbo is driven by exhaust, so as long as it has exhaust it will work lol. but with a turbo that big it would be hard to find a car or truck that would be able to spin it! well spin it fast enough to make boost that is lol

yeah would be a lot of lag there huh? Maybe a twin turbo set up with a smaller turbo helping make hp to boost the bigger turbo?

na too much to pipe up and control, it would be a mess, and the weight of that turbo, and two smaller turbos to spool it, and piping, intercooler, and all would take away from the power, not to mention it would need two exhaust's one for the small twin turbo's and one for the large. its just a big ole mess!!

call them up! see what they say, ask the no motor guy what engine was in it, so you can get a price on a replacement, ask if the wiring harness and ecu is there, cuz he may have torn everything out for a swap into a different truck

same goes for the trans guy, ask what motor and trans were in it, and ask if the driveshafts and transfer case is still there, that little stuff will nickle and dime you to death trying to get all the parts together, it can slowly creep up to a higher price then you intended to pay. if they are all there and it just needs the actual transmission then your good !

only thing that sucks is before 8am seems too early and then the office fills up and by the time i leave work i got so much shit to do... ill call them today
