Changed oil and filter. Used Castrol EDGE full Synthetic 0w-30 Euro Formula and BMW oil filter from Classic BMW.

Installed the sunglass holder mod, and put the power outlet + bluetooth/aux input device into the dash so my car is retro'd with 3rd party bluetooth. Pretty cool mod.

Still debating the Nexus 7 mod, cause I like to sit in my car from time to time and eat lunch, also have long commutes to work.

I drove it for once. Put less than 500 miles on it this year.

Purchased two new tires, Michelin Pilot A/S 3s for the rears. My wallet feels a lot lighter now which should make the car go faster, right?

Painted my calipers. Or watching my calipers dry. The later is more accurate.

Angry

Found out I had a coolant leak about 75 miles from home. A FAST coolant leak. Bought 5 gallons of premix coolant.

Refilled coolant about every 15 miles! Bought a water pump from BMW dealer, 75 miles from there (who actually matched the price on ECS.com!).

Refilled coolant about every 15 miles!

Drove it 40 miles home. Refilled coolant about every 15 miles!

Oh and then when I got home, I refilled coolant. Then I tried a DIY replacement. Failed miserably. Spent 4 hours taking it apart, Damned structural beam in the way. Then after 2 hours of fiddlefucking with that... Spent 3 hours putting it back together so I can at least drive it. Will be taking 335xi to Indie only about 3 miles away, thank God, then getting a rental tomorrow.

Boo that sucks. So your water pump is jacked? it's not just a hose or something? GL, with it. Let us know how it goes.

Not sure. If I let it cool, then start it up, it runs for maybe two minutes, and then I can see (with the shield off), coolant just drooling (Continuous stream) from the frame on the passenger side, so I can't tell where it's originating... I'm hoping just a bad hose or something so I can return the new pump, or just keep it, I'll need it soon anyway Trying to remain positive, but I put on about 800 miles/week avg. I REALLY need my car. Worst case, could it be a cracked block? Is that even possible?

You should try taking the spoiler to a shop to get them to really put it on so it won't detach if you're really unhappy with it. Just a suggestion
I have kicked around the idea of permanently attaching it, but I don't think it'll look right. Besides, that CSL setup really looks good imo. knowing me, that's exactly what I'll do. In due time.

No, I don't think that's it T. I'm pretty meticulous when it comes to my stuff, so I make sure the contact is solid and it is from the beginning anyways. I think the problem has to do with heat. Because I don't garage my car and it being black(dark colors absorb the most heat), I notice that over time, the tape actually begins to sag and seems much more pliable as opposed to when it's fresh off the roll. Thus it fails in a major way. I suppose I could try some different tape, but from my research, the 3M tape I use is supposedly the best. Still though, I do believe the CSL boot's in the future for my ride.

My spoiler is about to go through its 1st AZ summer with the 3M. Mine's white though. We'll see. So far so good through the last 3 months.
