They quoted me saying minimum $750 probably even more pretty expensive no ? Maybe we can get everyone who's installing from NYC and get package deal from some shop ?

Sounds high? I thought they did the VTT stg1 for 400 if I recall. Should take a tech 4 hours so depending on labor rates...

Doesn't appear to be too difficult of a DIY

map3 with meth stock turbo vs map3 with meth pure turbo = 57whp gain
Stock no mods vs pure turbo = 113 whp

So the PURE Stage 1 will add 57whp to your full modified N55 !
Will there be any gains with stock DME (have some problems with my current piggy so I think Ill wait with another DME tune until a flash is available)?

This turbo takes a average install time of 5-6 hrs 7 hrs if you're taking it slow not trying to mess things up being your first time. Even Jesse_pure said he's seen installs range from 3-6hrs vargas told me the same thing. That being said you can't expect everyone to be like RHM135 and do it in 3hrs considering turbo replacement on n55 isnt a common thing. Also my install took longer because i wanted the perks of a forge DV that added a little bit more time as well. Other than that i dont see this turbo being installed longer than 6hrs @ a normal rate of 100ish a hr thats 600ish. Also guys i recommend changing the water pump bolts. I believe they are one time aluminum use

I'm just doing it myself. It might be slower but at least I know it's going to be right since I actually care about the car I'm working on. Shops don't give a crap. Even if they are more experienced they are rushing and might be hung over, who knows. Just do it yourselves. Then you won't have that awkward moment when people ask how hard it was to install where you have to tell them you don't do your own work.

The core can be returned for a refund within 6 months.

One question: This will run and provide results even with stock ECU - right?
This will run just fine with the stock ecu. Do you mean the stock ecu with no tune or jb4? If so, it will run fine but don't expect much hp gain without increasing boost.

So the 10th person we were waiting to pay is not responding. They must have a good reason why they can't make the payment. I'll remove that person from the list. It looks like we have at least 2 others who are ready to join and pay. We can add to the list to make 11 or 12 spots if you guys want to lock it in today.

Please let me know who is ready to join and ready to pay, and you will be added.
