huper optik is like a thick ceramic tint.it cost more but it has better heat rejction and doesnt affect with comfort access/electronic stuff, etc. and only authorized places can do it .

and here i've done all the searching in the forums b4, and i forgot who did this thread about tints but he helped cover it thoroughly and i saved this portion of that thread for my personal reference:
"I did tons of research when I got my car and started with the two best ceramic tints based on reviews: Formulaone (F1) Pinnacle series and Huper Optik Ceramic Series. There are many threads comparing these tints but I opted for F1 Pinnacle based on looks(to me it looks a little less reflective). People will vouch for both, but I know F1 has a loyal following on this board as well and haven't seen any bad reviews. They are both equally expensive but can't cheap out on tints! Formulaone is only carried at authorized dealers and there are only a few in the LA area. There are only three choices in LA 15%, 35%, 50%. A-Pro Glass Tinting 723 S. Glasgow Avenue, Unit D Inglewood, CA 90301 Phone: 310-348-9999 Automotive Entertainment, Inc. 3637 Foothill Boulevard La Crescenta, CA 91214 Phone: 818-249-8282 Sun Dimmers 8105 Orion Van Nuys, CA 91406 Phone: 818-780-8181 I went to the last one Sun Dimmers but to the Valencia location near my dealer. A-pro used to be in Santa Monica but was more expensive and wouldn't tint my windshield. Don't know anything about the second one. For Huper Optik, there are more ceramic choices...20, 30, 40, 50, 60% in LA. Personally I would go to: Song's Tint Masters 2466 West Washington Boulevard Los Angeles, CA 93292 Phone: (323) 732-9100 They have done tons of E92s and seem to have the best reputation for Huper installation around LA. I've seen good reviews on other non-BMW forums as well. You can do a search and compare pics on this site. I went with F1 35% all around and couldn't be happier. " seriously will that put u at ease now? ![]()
