For more immediate occasions that nobody told me about, there are 2 local butchers about eqi-distant from my house. One makes a killer roast coating that I have them add to decent steaks for a change from the standard salt/pepper in a pan with butter and fresh herbs from the garden. Sunday I picked some oranges, limes, and jalepenos from the back. Squeezed them into a bowl and whisked with some honey, then places thin sliced chunk of chicken in for about 5 hours. Stir-fried in a wok with fresh zucchini, then dumped the pan of wild rice all together and made a big ol mess. Eating for lunch as well today!

Yea, bad camera angle. Probably 3/4 lb of 90% beef under that wad of cheese. Here is a side shot of a leftover speciman..

Ground beef seasoned with Montreal and fresh tomato. Then wilted in cabbage and zucchini
Guess what’s for lunch tomorrow?

A new twist for the KD concoction night. Thick slice of Cured and Dried Steak Strips.
I sliced the strip and submerged them in the boiling water for the Pasta to soften them. Pretty good but I'll slice them in smaller portion next time. |

Last evening, I only had a small portion of Tabbouleh with Naan bread since we had a birthday potluck at the clinic. The Naan bread is not authentic, I know but that's all I had on hand.
However, I will be baking some Manakish Za'atar bread this weekend. The recipe looks interesting. https://www.themediterraneandish.com...naqish-recipe/ |

My son came home and HOOKED us up last night.
Brought his sourdough starter and made 2 fresh loaves. Messed up a bit and put WAX PAPER in the pans. Then he started in with sausages and hamburger to make spaghetti
