Ben or Chris, do you have any experience with Dodo Juice Purple Haze wax? I have CG 5050 and don't really notice much with it. Been hearing some good things about the Dodo Juice. Any thoughts?

Dropping my car off tomorrow at the dealer to have them look at the Turbo Lag and mirrors that have a mind of their own. I have noticed my car being really laggy lately when I am doing about 60 on the highway.

never used dodo juice. i've used the CG petes 53' and CG E zyme but never the 5050. petes 53' is ok for a basic wax but doesn't have a whole log of durability but is very easy to apply. the e zyme is a very good mid range wax. of course i prefer my swissvax

I am trying to find the SIB now, but from what I have seen since my build date is 10/06 I should be able to walk in and ask for the January 09 software per BMW. We'll see how that goes though.

Searching now, I found the SIB for the rattle, but not one specifically for the lag. Is there one specifically for the lag?

Hmm, found some nice "windycity" t-shirts online and accidentally ordered one. Hopefully it fits my fat ass.

what else are you using besides the wax, the wax can only do so much. the paint correction is the most imperative part

Never done any paint correction. Was planning on learning that sometime this summer. I just clay, JetSeal, wax. The basics so far. Hoping to pick up some halogens to get a better look at the paint

i want to see pictures first. it will probably need a refinish and if it does i'm not paying 550 for it

and jay without paint correction there is really no point in getting these high end waxes. You really need to do a good paint correction in order to see the difference between the waxes and even then its tough for the untrained eye to see a difference. You'll see slight variations but the higher end waxes really just shine great for a longer period of time. Require less maintenance and are really easy to work with. PLUS they have a great shine but if you don't have a good base you wont tell the difference between a 5050 and a swissvax

Thanks. I will try and shoot out to your house one weekend to "watch and learn." Maybe I can practice on Udub's car?
