Unfortunately not. Friends bought an X5 from there a few months ago (without me knowing) and to be honest it's a shed

Has anyone seen this?

http://www.bigmotoringworld.co.uk/ab...estimonials/1/

Is it just me or do these all present as if they've been written by the same hand?

Seriously what woman would write like this?

"Rosetta - Platt, Kent
As a women, I had only the very best treatment in all dealings with everyone at Big Motoring World"

As a woman, clearly buying a car is a huge challenge for a me as I don't understand technical things like cars

"Buying my car was an enjoyable experience.....no jargons..... rather simply understanding and catering to my every motoring needs"

Thank god they dont use any big words or technical terms. We'll be alright here girls!

"The aftercare is exceptional with prompt, competent and amazing service from everyone working in the service centre/workshop"

What a glowing review of the Service Centre/Workshop. Surprised she didn't say how handsome all the mechanics are as well!

Seriously, is it me?

That's just too similar to a comment made earlier by a previous customer imposter. Very suspicious.

You live in Leamington Spa and expect us to believe the story that you drove 135 miles including around the M25 to have them check out a tyre for you? Utter utter bullshit!!

They never learn do they?

Why don't we all email the "Motor Trader Magazine" for their comment on their 2010 award winner's practices?

Bull Posts

Some of these "I'm so happy with Big Motoring World' posts frankly make my arse twitch. The reason is because the faults that they describe that Big 'happily put right' are faults that I've had with the ton of crap that I bought from there earlier this year. It really is a heap with:

- corroded brakes that would sort themselves out with use (no they didn't you useless bastards - they were unsafe and had to be replaced)
- broken glove compartment lock (clearly your pre-sales checks are AAA)
- cracked manifold (they found the fault, 'fixed it', then when we smelt fumes in the cabin again, what do you know, they couldn't! AFter the 5th visit, they found the fault but what do you know, it now doesn't exist - no no, they haven't said that they have repaired it, the fault simply doesn't exist anymore). Their service guy said that it's not unsafe and that I should just drive around with the recirc button on until they get a replacement.
- incomplete service book (when I asked for you to get all of the stamps added, I didn't mean just your own you stupid bastards)

The owner, contrary to these suspicious posts, is as useless as they come. Customer service is not prized in this company at all - it's motto might as well be - Big Enough To Screw You Over and Small Enough To Not Give a Fuck.

wtf?

Am I missing something here? Is this post by bigbmw in response to something?

I see an RAC report which details a car which has plenty of items needing rectifying...

RFT's on one end, but not the other
no locking wheel nut socket
chips, scratches and dents. Nice.
high level brake light not working
weather-shield adrift on windscreen
damaged mirror casing
sun visor lights not working
cig lighter not working
filler cap strap missing
parking sensor not working
cd changer not working
all wheels scuffed and corroded.
engine oil leaks.
3 different makes of tyre.

What a QUALITY car. Where do I sign?

I'm shocked that the RAC think that is acceptable.

Bigs post does nothing but show conclusively that they sell crappy stock and have no pride in pre-sale preparation.

My 10 year old Range Rover is in better condition than that car by a long way.

I guess it does depend what was paid for the car and if the RAC inspection was shown to the buyer. A fair point though from Big that a 150K mile car will show signs of age. Every car has a value, the value of this one clearly isn't much.

It does not seem to be anything you would not expect on a 150k mile car.

Surprised that BIGBMW would not have sorted most of those things before letting the RAC inspector view the thing.
