I don't think so. Performance Boutique would though I'm pretty sure. But they are in Carp/Kanata.

Right lol. I need to change valve cover.

Performance boutique did my walnut blast and they also cut my secondary cat and welded in resonators. Also replaced my exhaust tips on the stock exhaust.

Yeah haha but I'm pretty sure it's more expensive than a new OE one. And since I have lifetime warranty when I'll order it I don't mind if I have to change it again in 100K KM.

Anyone brought a car in from out of province before?

Its a gift from the father in law and from what I understand I need to have the following:
  • Sworn Statement for a Family Gift of a Used Motor Vehicle
  • Safety Certificate (valid for 30 days form inspection)
  • Valid new insurance ( for myself) and Ontario drivers license

Did I miss anything?

EDIT: took a long time to call in but service Ontario finally answered. No restrictions on the province the car comes from just scratch out and replace the province on the family gift form

Regarding the PE Mod, if you are a pretty handy person you can do most of the job and probably bring the muffler in any welding shop which could save you some good money.

I cut the axle back portion from the car, dropped it and then I cut it open and removed the perforated pipe and resonator. I have a 240V MIG Welder at home but I did not trust my terrible skills for that kind of job so I had my father's friend weld my 2.5" piping.

Not overly impressed. Sent them a message through their contact us a week ago and no response. Think I'll start looking elsewhere for the exhaust mod

Yeah I'm sure I could take the muffler off and cut it myself. The welding no way. Just want to get a feeler first from shops and just let them do all the work if its not much more $.

Yeah I had to send a follow up email originally when I contacted them. That's the only thing I disliked about them.

Just call the number it's pretty easy to get through to Peter. Have had my clutch flywheel and walnut blast and boost leak issue solved through them so far. Great guys and no one I'd trust with the n54 platform more than them.

Looking for help determining a fair cash value for the E92 the father in law is gifting to me to avoid taxes, its going for its safety tomorrow (fingers crossed on that but it did have a 55 point inspection by BMW just 6 month ago where they did brakes all around, water pump and hoses and an electric wiring recall). Its an Alpine white Msport 335i E92 xdrive 2010 has only 113,000km on it - no accidents or damage beyond a dime size nick on the back quarter panel that was covered with a paint pen. Was never winter driven, has the individual audio option along with sport, premium and winter packages. We are currently hovering around the $10K mark, he doesn't care all that much as its already more than trade in value which is what he normally does with his cars. Sadly no msport wheels as those were destroyed in montreal a few years back in potholes

Edit: 10k was the agreed upon amount. My research showed private sale would have been 3-4K more plus taxes so I’m happy.

How are you all handling the cold? I had to replace my blower fan because it had a hard time starting and squealed to much and I would of been without heat in this horrible weather.

Car is doing great. Although with the cold, my oil filter housing gasket started leaking. Guess I know what I am doing Thursday.

Hi folks, new owner to the OG of the E90s, a 2006 BMW 325i. The car needed a little work to get back on the road, but overall in stellar condition for a 13-14 year old car with over 200k kms. I picked it up to fix it up back to its original glory with the help of a good friend. So far it's needed a new rear wheel bearing and a new battery, otherwise it's been good fun to drive around!
