Thanks man. I'll be posting more like that when I get the time. I never messed with traction control all weekend - I just left it on the whole time. I think Wookie may have played around with different settings.

FYI...the 1st lap is always run at a slow pace with no passing which is why it seems like we're barely moving. Also, depending on your instructor, you may or may not have been given free reign to go hard when it was damp. My instructor was cool and let me go pretty much as hard as I wanted to. But some others like the guy in the white 370Z Nismo, Nils, had an instructor that wouldn't let him drive at track speed. That explains why it looks like he's standing still when Wookie and I pass him. By the way, all the audio you hear in that video was from my car. So when you hear Wookie passing Nils in the Nismo, that was actually what I was hearing from behind. I'm telling you, Wookie's car sounds very mean now!

Once I got around Dan, I was able to push pretty hard, but not nearly as hard as the day before.

yeah I noticed that. I was listening to him too hehe. I could definitely tell you were hitting it much harder the day before. If you reach a higher speed than expected, do they tell you to slow down? I also take it they tell you when to brake for the corners?

Yeah, they spend a lot of time teaching you "the line" around the track which includes all your braking, throttle, and steering inputs. Obviously, these have to be adjusted as conditions change and they give you pointers as you go. We also had a few classroom sessions between our time on the track.

There were times where I felt like I was going good and getting in a rhythm, but after watching the videos, I see some bad lines and tons of room for improvement.

I think I'm going to take a stab at this mod:
http://www.n54tech.com/forums/showthread.php?t=10889

Replace the amber gauge face illumination to white. I can also change the center LCD to white but that takes a lot more patience and LEDs.

Add a pair of M3 ring bezels? I'm not sure about these though.

I bought a spare set of red needles from an E60 M5 cluster, but I'm pretty sure they're the exact same ones found in the M3 cluster.

I don't trust myself to make perfect painted lines with a sharpie but this is a pretty good idea too. Might work well when masked off.

I like the white and the gauges by themself, but then the rest of the interior is still orange so I want to see it in person before I decide whether I like it or not :/

PS I got a spark plug tool for cheap so if anyone needs, LMK. There has been recommendations to change around 20k intervals if tuned. I'll probably be doing mine this weekend...maybe.

Anyone going to C&C?

^^^You got it Mikey^^^ I'm pretty sure not as much work needed on it like last time. Let me check it out whenever you have time. Free photo shoot again if you wish...complimentary of course!

I've discovered a lot of better products too so outcome should be more interesting to say the least.

Thx again for opportunity to work on your very beautiful ride.
