I'm painting the wheels gloss black and have Bridgestone potenzas that I am going to put some white lettering on. I had to sand the lips down bc they were so curbrashed and will fill them so I will be painting the lips black too. I have a set of bbs lms on there now that I just put on but just want something different to change things up. If you want to AutoX go to bmwcca.com and check it out. To sign up for the club it's 50 bucks and every event is 50 bucks. You do it once and you'll want to do many more times I promise. Any questions don't hesitate to ask. |

What is the benefit of the i strut mounts and lowering perches? Just to get the front a little lower?

Funny how the tails took 15 minutes to swap, and the headlight bulbs took over an hour. Wheels off, liners off, etc.. Sucked. I hope to have pics of the Osram CBIs soon. |

I did my angel eyes on Saturday. What an ordeal. And unbelievably hard to photograph.

I got the DTEC V7. They look really good. Horrible pic.
So you really have no choice but to kind of jam the "transformer" and wires in the housing. Do these parts get hot, or is it not a concern? Last edited by SLOWER; 03-17-2014 at 06:15 PM.. |

I gotta see some aftermarket AEs in person.
In other news I just saw this and want it for lake cabin: Hell if they made a REALLY good cap so it looked like a E92 i'd take it over an E92 ignoring the engine differences of course.

The DTECs look good. I've seen the LUX V3s in person as well. Solid choices, but I worry about flicker and heat. Anyways, I'll give the GP Thunders w/ coding a shot first then make a decision.

The coding ups the voltage or something? Do you know a lot about our headlights? I have some questions...and don't feel like searching forever.

The coding keeps them at the 13.7v, which would be full brightness. http://www.e90post.com/forums/showthread.php?t=612857 I got them as a quick cheap replacement from the stock bulbs to get rid of the dim yellow until I could decide further. Read into the coding, and if the brightness helps, I'll keep them. If not, DTEC/LUX/etc will be ordered. I don't need obscenely bright, and do like the OEM fade in/out. |

Should we have another meet? Starting to get better weather finally... well, unless you're in the Cape.

Should we do same place or different this time? Might be hard pressed to find another place as easy going about separate bills, random people showing up, seating etc..
