Yes, let's add them to the list (thanks guys for promptly paying) and start to get these puppies shipped. I remember seeing that shipment was based off of order of pay.

Should we have a new list with ETAs aligned through the list of 11/12 people. Reason would be to show who is in what order and how many units are available for shipping now, who gets those, and who needs to wait on the next batch and when the next batch is expected to be ready for shipping?

Does that make sense?

Yes a list with a guesstimated ship date would be awesome, especially when we are looking at a group install.

That sounds great! Shouldn't take us long to do them. Maybe 5 hours for the first and 3-4 for the rest. Should be able to work on a few at once. We could have them all knocked out in one day.

So make sure i'm in that first group of turbos to arrive we could even do 2 one weekend, and the others the next. When it gets closer to install time we can figure it out.

Agreed. After the first car (hutch lol) we will learn from out mistakes and knock the others out quick. Hutch loves being the guinea pig; he'll tell you

Out of curiosity, is anyone planning on running this with a protune off the Cobb AP? That's probably the direction I'm headed.

Considering i have not seen any dynos of n55 with stock turbo over 400 dynojet whp's, i find 439 whp without meth quite nice.

Yeah, stock turbo he made 407 though, must be some sort of improvements on the 435i vs our cars. Man that thing is lean as hell. In most cars that engine would have blown. That wavy graph shows the car is fighting it trying not to blow up.

I am going to run JB4 for now, but there is a AP with protune in my future. Sounds like a nice Xmas present

I think Jesse from Pure investigated the stock turbo from EWG cars. While at first people thought the bigger numbers came from bigger outlet of EWG turbo cars it actually turned out it has bigger compressor wheel than our turbos. Hence explaining the bigger numbers. However it does run too lean to ever be run like that daily. How hard can it be for BMS to add a meth kit and do some decent tuning to get AFR's back in line?

I am in talks with a german company to be one of the first to get a ecu tune on F series car. Will hope to hear more today Imagine a baseline tune on 93 octane and run JB4 on top of it for meth and E in the mix

I have a JB4 now but recently acquired a Cobb AP for a backend flash. Protune/e-tune seems very interesting. PTF seems to doing some really good work so I may approach them.

Any update on the group buy - do we have 10 paid up?

Yes, have at least 10 paid up. No word on shipments dates or anything. A bit disappointed in Pure on that aspect.

i believe he said on the bms thread the upgraded turbines are the same size...may have read it wrong but if thats the case we should see some pneumatic cars making well over 400 whp with his stage 1 upgrade

At least 10 are paid and ready to go. I'd also like some type of communication regarding where they are in the status of this project (group buy project).

My concern is I've seen a handful of people going directly to the shop to get installed and a). this is taking time away from getting our builds ready and b). assuming they are also using up the 'handful' of stg1 that were originally available to be sent out to this group. I totally understand from a business perspective (they are making more off the guys going in plus labor for installs) but also would like to state all of us have paid (some of us paid around a month ago) and are patiently waiting shipping. My big goal for this kit and having it in for 2014 was for Proving Grounds which is 4 weeks from today. I'm super excited about the product and am ready to give it hell but also am starting to be a bit concerned about the MN guys getting ours shipped and installed by Sept 5.

Pure, any potential update we could get today would be great. Also, when will you be distributing formal invoices for our purchases as I have yet to receive those as well.

Oh that is good to know. I did state it was an assumption on my end so hope this is the case. I know they didnt have all 10 built when I asked 2 weeks ago but it sounded like they had nearly half of them built?

Just an updated and SLA/ETA and order of payers would be nice to know so I could plan accordingly

I'm sure they are just getting all their ducks in a row before they give us details. I'm actually glad they aren't just giving us guesses about when we'll get our turbo's. Who knows. Maybe they're like 2 cores short and just trying to source them before telling everyone exactly when they'll be shipped. I'm confident it will be soon. Starting to think more and more that I'll need to be buying a Cobb though. Either that or meth kit.

EDIT: In fact now I'm certain I'll be getting a Cobb. Terry has just officially said that this upgrade SHOULD have the BMS flash. Not required but he said we'll be outside of BMS's suggested tuning guidelines.
