Yeah I was just down there this past weekend, and they have some really good coaches that are gonna help me out.

Probably lookin to move right around Christmas... Its definitely gonna suck leavin Pittsburgh, but Ill be back hahaha

I agree haha... My job now is great, when I go to Chapel Hill I will be takin a huge pay cut and I probably wont like my job as much. But those are some things that Im willing to sacrifice right now if I am gonna try and make this Olympic team.

"It really helps with adding more explosive power, [experiencing] different weight changes as you would with an offensive tackle throughout the game," Orakpo told me. "If you're benching, the chains are rattling and you kind of feel the weight changing, so you have to make sure your stability is there, and also you add a lot more weight to it. You can get 30-pound chains, 50 pound-chains, 45-pound chains....It really helps with core work, stability, all that stuff that you need out there on the field. Especially at the position I play, you've got to be explosive, and that really helps with explosiveness."

We used to do this type of stuff with my strength coach in college. Sometimes we would use chains, but most of the times we would use the elasic bands. Mostly just when squating and benching but you have the weight that is on the bar, plus the band and usually a 5-10lb dumbell connected to it... When doing high rep stuff you had to really take your time cause if you start going to fast youre probably gonna drop it haha

yea especially since they would be moving around when you were trying to lift that shit... dude is a beast though..
