I reached out to them and they offered to match a sample if I can send it but I'm not sure its worth the hassle. Ill probably have them professionally repaired, I was just hoping this would be a good short term solution.
Looks a lot better to me.

I say attempt because the color is about 5 shades too dark.

Most leather repairing stuff will require the exact color code.
They even ask if its possible to get a sample.
(im using them, they got great
(not cheap) product : leatheriquecanada.com)

Also, easier to do the entire seat.

Depending how you like your car, you can always test the paint thinner method... look very sketch, but from user reports and youtube vid its working very well. Just make sure to got a good leather conditioner.

At the end, pretty sure you can find local underground jobber that can do miracle. After all, leather work is one of the oldest profession.

They have the correct color coming so I will try that. For the record I gave them the exact BMW color code and they sent this. I have resprayed seats but I just wanted something quick and easy for these. I re-did the seats in my M3 a little over a year ago and it was more work than I want to put into my daily wagon.

disconnected my sirius receiver.
RIP most bus.

but for serious, I was unhappy after the merger that I lost a bunch of chennels that they swapped to XM channels.
can I get a later receiver and get all my channels back, or do I have to stick with units intended for the CCC?

Threw in coils, one step colder plugs, DCI and charge pipe today after having a misfire in cylinder 1. Car runs beautifully now.

When putting plugs in I did find out my valve cover gasket is leaking. Buying a new one and also putting in a clutch stop next weekend.

The maintenance never ends on these N54s

Got the airbag, blower motor harness, and flex disc all replaced under recall today.

And I've been scratching my head ever since I bought the car as to why the glovebox USB doesn't seem to work when I tried updating the maps. I painstakingly popped the port out from behind the glovebox and replaced it, only to see no improvement.... So I figured the last place left to suspect is the CIC's connections.

Low and behold... small wonder why people do not trust dealership technicians. At some point my 135i's CIC must have been pulled and the dumbass tech did not even reconnect the cable behind it.

So much BS annoyance caused by someone's stupid mistake. Ugh. At least it's all working now.

Replaced the Bosch coils with Eldor's, they are constructed soo much better.
Got rid of the misfires under load as well.
Put 2 new boost solenoids in as well as 1 vacuum canister as it had a crack in the top nipple causing 30FF.

The Lux angel eyes are immediately obvious. They're quite a bit brighter and are pure white instead of yellow... kind of a luxury @ $200 though.

Haven't driven at night with the Osram bulbs yet, will report back tomorrow when I do. I took my other car for a romp tonight.

edit: So I took the e91 out to check out the new lights in the dark. The Lux bulbs are incredibly white & bright compared to the stock yellow bulbs. Unlocking the car kind of surprised me - it lit up the garage doors like never before. Huge change.

The OSRAM bulbs are definitely a little whiter & brighter than the stock Philips bulbs, but it's tough to gauge how much without driving with them back to back. I like the color - not blue at all - should work great in inclement weather & looks good with the white Angel Eyes. I also played with the headlight level - it was quite low before - and after doing that, with a little longer throw in low beam, it was clear that they put out a lot more light light than the stock bulbs.
