A faint glow surrounded his body as a vision of a strange place appeared in his mind. The vision was blurry for several moments, but when it cleared, Jerry discovered himself in quite an unusual place. A great amount of fog slithered thickly amongst the ground, which remained completely invisible for miles upon miles. Above a lightning storm lit this place. Mountains could be seen from every angle, more so when the sky flashed. The heavy amount of fog seemed endless.

Jerry studied his appearance. Even though he had accomplished meditating his soul to another dimension, every bit of clothing from shoes to shirt, remained intact with him. His skin texture felt different as well. It was much more firm and colder.

“We’ve been expecting you for quite some time, Jerry,” said from a figure, standing behind the confused teenager.

“Who—who or what are you?” questioned Jerry as he quickly turned around to see a tall, dark, masculine figure, which was surrounded by this green aura. “What is this place?”

“This place where your great-grandfather has advised you to meditate to is called Spiritual Judgement, and I am one of its proud Guardians. My name is Zorda” His voice was deep, and he talked slow. He appeared taller and wider than a spirit; dark shades of green in his non-transparent skin. His eyes were pitch black with thin, diamond green slits as pupils.

“Nice to meet you.” He continued eying the being in front of him, still in awe over the Guardian’s sight.

“This is the dimension where spirits are judged after death and where all other dimensions are connected. Here, spirits are judged to either remain here for the rest of their life, to roam around freely or be locked in a sphere for eternity… Or to simply be sent straight to Hell.”

“Alright, then why am I here?”

The Guardian grinned. “To learn how to destroy the being that dwells inside your mind and this is where that battle will occur.” His voice grew louder. “Let’s see how good of a fighter you are… Attack me!”

“What?” Jerry nervously questioned.

“Attack me!” His green aura brightened.

“What?” he asked again.

“Just concentrate,” replied the Guardian. “Jump forward and hit me! It’s that easy. You’re using your mind to meditate. When you do so, abilities are given to you that are normally impossible to accomplish on Earth. Try it!”

After hesitating for several moments, Jerry leaped forward, immediately popping up in front of the guardian, thrusting his right arm hard, which was blocked just as fast.

“How the hell did I do that?” inquired Jerry.

“Like I said before, you’re using your mind and what was not possible before…is now. Now block me.”

The Guardian went for a kick, but Jerry quickly blocked it with ease by the use of his right hand. He sensed another kick coming, so he quickly ducked, barely missing it. Jerry suddenly landed an explosive punch to the lower torso of the Guardian, sending him flying several feet upwards. The Guardian stopped in mid-air.

From a distance, a few other Guardians showed up, some floating in the air, others standing on the ground.

“Good, but not good enough,” said Zorda. He held out his hand, aiming it at Jerry. Small green circles of light appeared in his palm. The lights spun around, growing closer and closer until a ball of energy had formed.

“He’s not going to do what I think he is,” said Jerry, watching Zorda closely.

“Yes I am!” shouted Zorda as the energy ball fired down. The ball looked like a miniature comet with a tail of energy drifting behind it.

Running faster than he normally could, Jerry escaped the impact of the blast as it collided into the ground. Upon turning around, he saw another energy blast headed his direction. This one, however, was not avoided and directly smashed into his chest, knocking him down.

“If you cannot use your energy to shield yourself, then fly away from the attack!” shouted Zorda, forming several balls of energy this time. “I know you can do this”, he said quietly, right as he launched his energy attack forward.

Jerry quickly ran away from the blasts, each one fiercely smashing into the ground behind him. His speed kept increasing each second.

“Fly!” screamed Zorda with frustration. His energy blasts grew greater in size and fired faster. “Feel the energy grasp every inch of your body and let it carry you!”
