I think they have no choice...with all the bad publicity on the recalls recently.

They should let you early terminate the lease since you getting the 4500 back.

yeah...but you always negotiate...they let you early terminate for xyz reasons...therefore, you shouldn't be paying more...also, tell them to cut the miles..

Sad to say but I'm considering getting rid of the whip, I drive WAY to much for a lease...
I wasn't expecting to drive as much as I have. I went through my first year of miles in just 6 months.
If i kept driving as much as I am, I'll have to spend an extra $7,200 for the overage in miles, for the 3 years. (At .16 per mile)

I do have a 2nd car but it's only a weekend car. (RB25DET S13 Silvia Coupe).
So the Bimmer was my "Daily Driver". Getting a 3rd car for a mileage beater would be a good idea, but I also want to get rid of the almost 700 dollar car payment. Some financial stuff came up and I need to be a bit more careful with my spending.
