Ok short/long version.....

Flashback to yesterday. My daughter doesnt want to get out of the pool and is having a blast. I've been with her laying by the pool all day, I'm burnt to hell. I'm going inside. So basically this means its another free night for me. Right at that time Guido calls me, asks me to come over because he's hungry. I go to his house and cook us dinner. He's super sweet the entire time. Nothing like Friday night. We had a genuinely nice time. Laid on the couch watching tv for three hours afterwards. Really nice time. Laughed at some shows. Around 8 I excused myself to go back to my house. One hug, one kiss goodbye. That's it. Pretty simple. That's the 5th time we've hung out in the past 10 days.

But here's the problem........Mr. you know who has communicated with me today out of no where. Shocked the hell out of me.

I don't know...call me silly or whatever but I would think he'd be super nice if he had cooked you both dinner. After all, he's the one calling you to come over because he's hungry. As a guest coming over by his invite, I would think it's proper manners for him to provide dinner. You've just confirmed one thing to him. He has pu**y control over you as he can call you when ever and you'll just come over....even cook him dinner. The only thing missing from this picture is his wife beater tank top. Your description of what happened just confirms how much of a douche bag this guy is.

People are attracted to a type, they usually don't deviate.

My wife has a friend that reminds me of Ms504, they even look very similar. The wife's friend is divorced with one kid, currently knocked up by another douche bag that she just dumped.

They are usually perpetuating the cycle that they hated (don't know daddy etc) now they are recreating it for their kids. It's unfortunate, very few seem to be able to break the cycle.

My other theory is that playgrounds for kids are too safe these days. Nobody learns from their bruises and then the hormones kick in, we bring the same tendency to relationships.

I can't remember even one female I've ever known who's broken this cycle without therapy.

Spontaneous invite to cook him dinner? Very sweet of you but come on! It's one thing if you are in a relationship... he should have had dinner on the table when you arrived - chivalry must be dead on the west coast. All guidos know how to boil noodles, add Prego, and parmesan cheese from a box.
