![]() I appreciate you taking the time to look it over. I'll log the timing as well - I didn't put it on there because my AccessPort limits the number of data points that I can have active at one time while logging. I know of a guy that is well spoken of in my local area that can custom tune it - just didn't know if I needed it. From your feedback, it sounds like I should make it a priority. Thank you!

Hey guys-
Stock 08 335i with a Dinan Stage 2 flash and new Dinan rebuilt (stock) turbos: http://www.datazap.me/u/kkidwell7/71017?log=1&data=3-21 Hopefully I logged this correctly, I just got the car a month ago and I've been looking into making the switch to MHD. Just looking for any info into anything that might need replacing, or just reassurance that flashing to MHD Stage 1/1+ would be a better move. |

Only comment I have on the log is that you have a number of timing corrections but nothing too horrible. When was the last time you replaced plugs/coils/injectors?

Car right now is fully stock minus a drop in filter and the Dinan tune. I'm running California 91 octane, and good call I left traction control on for that log. It's easy to find a lot of Dinan bashing on the internet so I had my doubts about what the tune would look like lol but looks like I'll stick with it until I go FBO. So based on the log, it looks like a solid baseline if I decide to go FBO and e25/e40? |

Last time I pulled the plugs two were looking a little wet, and little stumbles/misfires sometimes on morning start ups. I hope they aren't leaking(but either way I know its not good to have a mix of injectors in each bank- 2(07), 1(09) - on each bank from previous owners. Not sure if they were coded or not.

1) Too much timing corrections for such low boost 2) Fuel is too rich running, unless your on 91ACN 3) Too much wastegate oscillations occurring at peak power |

My first post! There are 3 logs all taken back to back with ambient temp 75-80*, logs 1 & 3 pull from 2.5k rpm in 3rd w/ shift @ 6k, and log 2 pulls from 2.5k in 3rd & stays WOT until 5th, shifts @ 6k.
Car: 2011 335is w/ DCT running 96-97 octane (93 oct no ethanol w/ nos octane booster added to ~13 gallons) Map: MHD OTS Stage 2 95oct (settings selected: burble default, oem cats, kickdown deactivated, linear throttle mapping, 3.5bar sensor) Mods: FMIC, DCI, CP, & BOV. Oil was changed <1k miles ago with Motul 5w-40 300v and I also had my changed oil analyzed and have those results if anyone is curious. I am half way through my 2nd tank of 93oct+booster on the stage 2 95 oct map so the car should have had time to adapt (didn't reset any adaptations). I've got catless DPs sitting in the garage ready to install, but my main reason for posting is to get an overall view of my cars health. I'd like to run some e85 blends/maps in the future and want to make sure everything is functioning as intended. I'm pretty clueless when it comes to the technical side of interpreting a log, but from what I've learned by reading and comparing, my logs look very good. Only thing I noticed that might be of concern is the 3rd log shows timing corrections up to -8.3 on cyl4. I've read that anything more than -5 can be a cause for concern...can someone share some more info about this? http://datazap.me/u/dr0n3/2011-335is...ods-dci-cp-bov I will be very appreciative of any info anyone can provide me. My short-term goal (i.e. next few days) is to install the DPs and flash Stage 2+ 95oct and then start playing around with the E85 maps if all is healthy. P.S. I plan to install a progressive meth system and get a custom tune built ASAP. Feel free to message and/or pitch me on your tuning abilities and competitive pricing! Post-shift correction on 1 cylinder isn't detrimental, but could be cleaned up with tuning. Not sure any tuner is out chasing customers, so might be waiting a while for one to contact you. With DCT, BQ Tuning . Logs look OK and apparently your VANOS solenoids need some cleaning/replacement. Hopefully, it's just those and not cam ledges. |

Log and help!
Hi
Could you kind folks have a look at my log and see if everything seems ok. I'm running MHD stage 2 plus, with FMIC, charge pipe with turbosmart kompact plumb back, BMS twin intakes and full custom exhaust which has had first and second cats removed. I've had a intermittent fault recently with misfire on cylinder 3 & 4 and had plugs and coils all done, which seemed to cure the problem. Yesterday had misfire under WOT again says on cylinder 4, but this morning is completely fine? Just wondering if it could be injector? Car has just gone over the 100,000 miles mark and I'm waiting to get a walnut blast done as never been done by previous owner. Any help appreciated http://www.datazap.me/u/paullacey007...og=0&data=3-19 |
