By the way do you guys recommend the DDM Hid kit 55w w/ 3000k? Or shoul I go with something else?

I'm going to try to install them tonight. Will throw up some pics ASAP!

3000K looks really yellow. Is that for HID fogs?

Yup, hid fogs. You think I should go with 4500 or 5000 then? I want it to look yellow but not mustard yellow. Haha. Also, I heard 55w can melt the housing on the e9x fogs. Is that true?

Yeah, exactly. Not too many people run 55W fogs on E30s and E46s because the housing will melt, haha. I imagine the E9x housings aren't much more resilient.

I like 4500K, but that was on 35W.

Nice! Hope you post some pics. I was supposed to go today... Ended up installing 2 washers and 2 dryers for my aunt!!! Calls me this morning as I am heading out the door to get some dim sum before the event.

Haha, I was going to make a thread today, but I wound up going to the BBQ meet in Fremont instead and I'm working on those pics.

Sounds like a lot of work lol. Too bad you couldn't make it. :/

i think you get error if you use ddm hid kit for fogs on e9x. Ask phuong about it
