because dark-skinned people were born in the sun therefore they have more heat absorbing dark skin. Therefore, dark colors were based of off early civiliation african man to generate more heat.

Whiteman were born inside so they hid from the sun. They could not handle the heat so they chose to stay inside away from the sun.

Sometimes, when a light skinned person is exposed to much to sunlight, they will start to burn from intense exposure and turn red.

Rarely, someone will start to turn dark skinned after exposure. We call those people Filipinos
