You guys know of any ic that leave no trace of cutting/trimming or any evidence that I replaced the stock unit? I know of the clamp that is basically..broken of sort when you take it off. But couldn't you just buy it from the dealer or be careful as to not break it?

my understanding is that the vk motorwerks requires no cutting. but when i had my spearco IC installed theres a 2 or 3 inch strip of plastic, (when cut away) that can increase the depth of the room that the IC core can sit in. (which as you may or may not know makes it more effective.) im thinking to get the best results from a IC without cutting that piece is to make the core taller and/or wider. im not sure what the size tolerances are around the orginal core or if anyone makes that. but if i were u id PM vince and tell him your situation and see if itll work for you (which i think it will)

yeah seth it was crappy earlier this morning..now sun is popping out. Thank god it isnt the 89degree that they were predicting today with the humidity that was going to accompany it. I work in the back kitchen at a restaurant and theres no ac. So....80 outside is like 100+ in the kitchen.

cub- thanks, ill try and get in touch with him...i know he has a gb going on. But it doesn't really look like its going anywhere. And I don't wanna wait 4months+

get the helix FMIC!...pretty much direct fitting, the unit I had required a shaving of plastic (nothing anyone would ever notice), and the one they ship out now has the hole on the mounting bracket that are on the endtanks drilled out a smidge more so that shaving isnt required either. Should just slide right in (thats what she said)

if you want to see it, I have it and I think kyle does too ?

it keeps the IATs so low that I drove around for 3 hours today straight and the car still felt like it was the middle of winter.
