I'm looking around for tint pics. 50% is illegal here and too light, 35% will get you a ticket, and 70% is legal but WORTHLESS.

I don't know what to go with. Keep in mind I live 1/4 mile from police headquarters.

I got a guy sending me 35% tint pics on his CR E92...

Painted makes a big difference over all-matte-black.

Oh... right. Duh. RD, not red.

The ones I've seen aren't that bright during the day. I run the GP Thunders in my fogs, but i didn't like the super whites in my ae's.

word, do you think they are worth it? or should i opt for the lux's, i dont know how much brighter they can be..

I used to work in theater lighting... the problem is that they use a high freq filter over the lamp to make them super white. This eliminates any color component (yellow) which is what makes them stand out during the day. Thus they must be like 10x brighter, which (from what I've read) has melted the upper edge of the housing.

With that said, they look great at night!
