For no reason at all all our computers are down. Worked fine yesterday. Nothing works today. No network, no Internet, nothing. Random shit just stops working with these fucking things. Like 2 days ago my outlook decides it's not gonna send anything. No updates nothing changed no new programs...just fucking stops

Here is the thing...I here what you guys are saying alot. However, EVERY single hard core IT professional I know swears by their PC. I mean every one of them. Its the weirdest thing.

I have my own reasons for disliking apple, but I'm weird/old/ghey.

However I've just been having problem after problem after problem and as far as I can tell the only constant is windows. And though probably unrelated to my situation, apple can't be so bad the google has switched to them completely and does not run any more windows...in the whole company

I mean IT pros know way more than I ever will and can probably diagnose and fix this shit without batting an eye. Problem is in a small company we are our own IT for our own computers...we're not running anything crazy. 4 computers, 2 printers, and an external hard drive. None of which ever seems to work 100%

I've switched between OSX and Win several times in the past years. I think the only upside of a Mac is that the hardware is predictable, less spyware and virus(it's not more secure, it's just b'coz not enough ppl care to do anything with it) so I don't have to run Noscript with FF and it's the thinnest 17" on the market right now.

As for the other aspect of the performance and suitability for certain tasks it's really an endless debate. Neither is really better in any way. I an IBM concentric consultant and yet I uses a Mac daily. I know a professional photographer who has Win7 as his main PC. in both cases, it works.

Well, now I should disclose that I also hate google for weird/old/ghey reasons even before hearing that. Google also too cool for school (yes I just quoted a gay pop 40 song) IMO.

Reason most people that are IT people use PC is because back when Apple came out, they really did not have any kind of CRM software or Business software, Apple had big time control over what software was to be used in there machine, Now that as all changed due to the millions of app's they have now.. But still not a lot of CRM programs to chose from that are compatible with mac's
