Correct. It is ProfanityPete.

@SJK9671 I'll look at my schedule and see when I'm available next on a Friday evening and PM ProfanityPete.

Shitty I thought things were off. Didn't want to take a 30 min ride on a "maybe". Next time.

In regard to the CDV, that was the first "mod" that I did, I couldn't even tell you what it's like to have one. LOL. I do remember bleeding the line was kinda a pain because the bleeder is really hard to get to (weird angle to get the wrench on).

That will be awesome,.. I'll just have to remember to get the car cleaned up the night before..

It will be good to see Pete again too. He did such a great job on my car with the coding!

I think the real question is, why are you on the forums at 3 am lolol.

JK!

Hey Nick how did your split armrest install go? I did mine this afternoon and it was a gigantic B#TCH because of the spring mechanism; I had to resort to some extreme tactics.

You mean CDV removal. I had a shop do it and it is worth every penny. That CDV is a crime, you'll realize that after you get yours done.
It removes a layer of control you have over the car - you're not able to directly modulate the clutch e.g. when the clutch exactly connects with the flywheel because the CDV is hydraulically preventing you from doing so. Night and day difference especially getting out of first gear. Burger Motorsports sells one for $20 I think; it looks like the CDV except the valve is non-functional.
I hope to do it this weekend! I heard as well it's a bitch!!!!

Also anyone in WNY specifically Buffalo get any window tinting done on their Bimmer? Where? and can u recommend anyone?

I have got my cars done at rainbow tint the last 2 times. They are okay I've heard horror stories about other places. I had to take my first car back a few times because the air bubbles never went out. When I get time ill be taking the 335 in. I wish someone in buffalo did the nice 3m tint my old 545 had...

There's a DIY on here for the E90 but if your arm rest has the spring in it ... good luck. You'll need a hammer to get the pins out.
