And as far as cauliflower ear goes, I had a couple friends out in SD who were serious about fighting and did fight on circuits. One of them had the nastiest cauliflower ear I've ever seen, and he got it drained like twice a week just to make it bearable. But he still pulled mad chicks. |

I get my LET flash tomorrow!
I'm so giddy, I can't wait. Hopefully there won't be much traffic on the way home from Plainfield! ![]() Looks like I will be getting my new rims in time to enjoy them for a few months too! Thanks to Julius and Frank over at WheelSto for putting up with my waffling back and forth. More importantly, thanks for following up and alerting me to a great deal when it presented itself! |

Volk Progressive ME's
http://farm4.static.flickr.com/3346/...121e801a_b.jpg http://farm4.static.flickr.com/3331/...6d0ebfd9_o.jpg Front: 19 – 8.5 +35 Rear: 19 – 9.5 +30 Mercury Silver. I was mulling over these from the used threads: http://www.e90post.com/forums/showthread.php?t=291568 I've been all over with this. All the way from some used CSL reps all the way to a new set of BBS LM-R's (in a moment of druken F*@# the $, those wheels are sick). Ultimately, the Volk Progressive ME's are a new wheel at a price that is within range. Gotta choose tires now too. Thinking Hankook/Nitto/Falken. Hankook may win on price alone. |

I've had a lot of cars with a lot of different tires on them and the ones I always notice handling the best are on Yoko's or Goodyears so I usually try to stick with them when I can afford to. |

So far I'm not happy. I schedule an appointment last week for 10 AM today. It's a long ass drive from Round Lake to Plainfield. Luckily I work for myself, but still, every minute I am not "on" is a minute I could be closing a deal. I even called Tony yesterday to tell him that after looking at mapquest that I may be 15 mins late, like around 10:15.
I get here at 10:06. There is one employee and another car waiting, but the two guys who can do the flash are "late". This tells me two things: 1. They are truly late as there was somebody else here expecting to have a 10 AM appointment. 2. They double booked. Bottom line is that I will be here about an hour to 1.5 hours longer than I planned. I am sure I will be happy with the car when I leave here, however, nothing pisses me off more than people wasting my time.
