Hahahha, as with my previous post, my skepticism for M bits comes when the engine is fundamentally the same.

For me, the jump between my 135i and upcoming M1 would not be significant because the engine is fundamentally the same.

However, this is not the case with the 335i as the V8 in the M3 is fundamentally different.

I just don't think the 1 series M coupe VIL BE as M pure as E60 M5 or the E9X M3. I will reserve judgement till the official specs are out though!

Well if BMW does use the N54, they will have to bump up the power to at LEAST 375hp, as they couldn't sell two equal cars with equal engines, but one with better suspension, bushings, LSD and an M badge.

So if that's the case, it will be very interesting to see what the modifications BMW does to the N54...as those would be BMW Approved mods all n54 cars can do!

I guess it depends on what you are looking for. The 112 eatery is amazing and I highly recommend you make a reservation. I haven't heard anything about Bar La Grassa

For American Fare (burgers and fries) - You have to try the Jucy Lucy hamburgers. I like them the best at either the Nook or Shamrock's in St. Paul, but you can probably try Matt's Bar and the 5-8 club as well.

Breakfast - Hell's Kitchen

I guess more suggestions are based on what you are looking for.

I don't have a preference, just want good food and dont neccessarily want to drop a fortune on it. Never heard of Jucy Lucy, will need to check that out. Thanks for the suggestion.

Not sure if you're looking for something right downtown, but if so some other places to check into: Brit's, The Local, Newsroom, Pizza Luce. Also good but more expensive: Fogo de Chao, Zelo, M&S Grill, Melting Pot.

I second Anvar's suggestion of Hell's Kitchen for breakfast, just make sure to call a couple days in advance for a reservation.

Il Gatto and Chino Latino in Uptown are pretty good too.

8.1997 Toyota Supra TT
9.Ford RS 200

14. Hayabusa powered caterham super 7
15. Sunbeam Alpine

Lets see your lists!
You sure got me thinking on this list! I'm close to the final draft, but it needs some refinement I'm about to get on a plane for CT so I'll finalize during the flight and post up later today.

Alaphabetical order and must be bone stock and at least 95 out of 100 in condition:

BMW 850csi - red on black
BMW E30 M3 - red on black leather
BMW E92 M3 – black on black
Chevrolet - 1991 Corvette ZR1 (blue)
DMC - DeLorean
Dodge Stealth TT (red)
Dodge Viper GTS (blue)
Ferrari F40 (red)
Ferrari Testarossa (red)
Ford - 1970 Boss 302 Mustang (orange)
Ford - 1991 Mustang LX 5.0 notch back - black/black or silver on black, bone stock
Ford - 1993 Mustang Cobra - Vibrant Red/black leather, w/ CD player and no sunroof
Lamborghini Murcielago – (black)
Porsche 911 TT (996 or newer) silver, red, black on black leather
Toyota Supra TT (red)

I will probably update this many times but that was off the top of my head.

Nick

I just picked up a 1993 850Ci Silver and Gray. I am currelty rebuilding the top end. I may also do a six speed swap to make it more like a CSI

Man, I am envious! You must see and drive some nice bimmers! Did you see that red E30 M3 that was for sale on Craigslist a week or so ago?

Wishful thinking I guess. That would be such a badass car if it were up there.

Maybe they will do a bunch in the name of weight savings, in which case that small boost in hp will be much more significant.

It wouldve been so cool if they put a high revving normally aspirated inline 6 in there similar to an E46 M3 but on steroids. (yes I know the z4M has essentially that, but if they made a new version of that engine... mmmm )

I would wager that the car is in fact heavier and not lighter than the 135i. I am assuming that they are using the M3 suspension components, which I would guess are heavier. They are also using bigger wheels, bumpers, and fenders, all of which will not pull the weight down. I am sorry if I sound cynical about this car

If you head west of the cities check out Redstone Grill in Minnetonka or Eden Prairie.

thanks braaa. It's a JBspeed lip, hamaan rep maybe? I was thinking about getting it molded onto the bumper and painting a smaller part of it gloss or matte black but i don't have the monaays right now. I wish i could get rid of the front plate but if they (cheddar bops) pull me over for it i'm getting a tint ticket too so i figure i'm better off with it on for now.

Also i know i've asked you guys this before, but when i did, i didn't have much luck finding anything. Anyone know of a place that does vinyl, like car exterior vinyl? i gotta get the roof blacked out.

If anyone's looking for something fun to do this Saturday (and friday night camping), come down to Millville, MN for the Motocross Pro National! It's quite a big deal...over 80,000 people come out to the event, with the best riders in the world.

Honestly, I can guarantee if You come, You will have a GREAT time. Camping Friday night is a blast as well...full beer garden/Good live music/pro pit passes to see the pro rigs and semi's that rival Nascar semis, and hangin out with fellow motorsports enthusiasts.

Here's a link!
http://springcreekmx.com/news_articl...rticle_key=290

It's about 1.2 hours south of the the MSP Airport on 52.

Anyone interested?

Very nice! Did you just get that lip put on? I don't remember that being on there last time I saw you driving. Then again, I could have just missed it.

Call up the place called Dent Kraft PDR on the vinyl. Just google them. I don't think they do it, but the guy there knows tons of people around town that do anything for cars. I can probably point you in the right direction.
