I guess the previous owner of my car only paid SiriusXM up until 2020 and yesterday I was cut off. What a cheap bastard! Now I have to call and pay for it.

Installed the aluminum trim I got off a salvage yard car. Sadly the trim is in way worse shape than I though. Really only about 1 or 2 useable peices. The DTC module was the only real pain in the ass. Does anyone know of a good wrap that will match the alumin trim best?

Does the subscription go to the radio or the sat module?
I can check the subscription status if certain modules/radios online using the vin?
Or do I have to call Siriusxm?

Not today but this past week I changed; all subframe bushings(to M3), diff. bushings(M3), m3 upper/lower rear arms, manzo toe arms, M3 rear sway bar, stainless brake lines, both front tie-rods and strut mounts. Car feels much tighter and more planted.

sat module on CCC. I believe the CIC system moved the receiver into the radio, but not 100% on that.

you check subscription by it's sirius ID. I think it's on the label, if not you'll have to plug it in and power it up to get it.
15 digits IIRC.

What about without iDrive?
I have no iDrive. So would it be on the SAT module itself?
I looked today and they don’t offer lifetime subs anymore.
I listen to mostly music, but a few times I’ll listen to sports or comedy radio, especially comedy radio on long drives.

Installed my key fob pcb’s into new housings (new fobs) from the ‘amazing zon’ . Ordered one, and when it worked and got great, ordered the other.

Also ordered and Dynavin.

Put in some new Rixxu seat covers. They look and feel great! Only real downside is you don't feel the seat warmers as much.

I'll be making a mini review thread soon.

there has to be a way to get it on the display. That's how you activate any sirius receiver.

lifetime subs went away after the merger. They were only available for a short time because Sirius was trying to raise capital.

it was BS anyway because the sub stays with the radio. So when your radio dies so does your $500 lifetime sub.

My key fob's lock and unlock buttons barely work... I've been considering cracking open the case and using some contact cleaners to fix the buttons, but I hate how the aftermarket case's lock and unlock buttons are way to easy to press... I would frequently find that my old car had rolled down it's windows in the rain just from my sitting on the couch. How do you like the case you picked?

These fobs feel great. Maintain as much as the original feel of the stock fobs as I can tell. This coming from the guy that just got the car and replaced the worn fobs writhing a week haha.

The button feel should be based on the pcb, not so much the fob (I guess unless the key polymer/rubber material was super weak). Been swapping out which one to use a bit and try to find any inconsistencies. None so far. Both fobs fit into ‘fob-key-hole’ without issue. I have the non recharging fobs, so can’t speak to these fob bodies being able charge that type.

After some serious procrastinating, the gauge cluster is basically done. Just needs some touchups, but I'll do that later..

Where did you get your cluster gauge faces from? Also, did you do a variable redline?

venoxycom on Instagram. Completely custom to me, aside from the 1M style. And not yet, that'll happen later this year

thank you.

I had a guy that said he could do them, and after I ebayed a full cluster to him and stringing me along he eventually flaked.

I hate the MPG gauge with a passion.
the most useless thing in the whole car.

Why not code that part to show oil temp. Looks funky but at least it gives you some useful info.

Which is more useful, water temp or oil temp? Cluster knows the water temp... i wonder how much hacking would be needed...
