I'm FBO with only stock DVs, on 93 octane. 30000 miles. Wedge custom tuned.

now definitely in the market to run meth but don't know the first thing about it as far as what i need since i run MHD flash only.

also will be picking up a set of 275/40/17 drag radials .... which are best between the 555r or nt05r?
You don't need anything except a meth kit with boost referencing (turns on when boost reaches X value. Some are 2 stage or progressive as boost increases).

Your log looks good to me. I'm impressed you can run E60 without TBI or PI for added fueling. Your hpfp will not let you produce any more power than what you are making now. 120 is a good trap speed and shows the power you are making. Your times will drop once you get a good hookup.

Could someone confirm what I am seeing here:
http://datazap.me/u/escapeyourmind/n...12-13-14-24-27

Looks like boost leak (maybe turbos going bad?), and lots of corrections (not sure why). Could probably use new spark plugs. No codes or anything, and fueling seems ok to me.

I'm FBO running on 93 octane. ~92k miles.

will meth allow me to make more power on the stock turbos? can i simply get a bms kit and call it a day ....will that work with mhd flash only?

Sorry, I can't really answer that since I have not run with Meth. I seriously doubt you going to get any noticeable gain on stock turbos with Meth versus running your E60 tune from Wedge.

Replaced the fuel sensor and took a couple logs. Seems to be good, just some timing corrections. Any thoughts here?

MHD stage 1+ v6.1. Probably the same tune as others with that timing drop.

This is the log I took a few months back. Same tune, broken lpfp sensor though: http://datazap.me/u/shrike360/stage-...0&data=4-23-27

Could be your DVs. Look into Turbosmart or Forge upgraded DVs.

OEM. Pretty obvious with the 45 degree dT.

Was planning on going FBO next month, but may have to replace a diff, which hampers those plans.

Hey Guys, I've been running V5 stage 2+ 91 octane for a while now, and it has been great. I decided to try the 93 octane map, and now seeing quite a bit of timing correction. Will someone please take a look and tell me if these values are safe, or should I go back to the 91 octane tune? Also, can you tell if your clutch is slipping from a log? It seemed in 3rd of 4th gear I could barely notice some slipping...

Logs

I'm on a stock 2009 MT 335i with the stage 1 91oct tune (version 6.1). So I've been getting some intermittent misfires, specifically they only happen in 6th gear going up a steep hill under WOT around 85-90 mph. Tried a lot of things and took the car to a couple of different shops and still can't figure out what's wrong!

Replaced coils, plugs and rear oxygen sensor but the misfire is still there intermittently. Annoyingly when I went to log tonight, it didn't misfire a single time, maybe it was because of the low night time temps (60F in Cali). Thought I'd post the logs anyway, maybe you guys will notice something. I'm new to logging so I did a few, just in case:

3rd gear pulls (on flat ground):
Run 1
Run 2
Run 3

Here is a sixth gear pull going up a steep hill, where I tried to recreate the misfire:

Are you misfiring on the same cyl consistently? Logs appear to be within reason (but I didn't do a deep dive). I just reviewed it high-level.

Common causes you've already addressed such as coils and plugs. Your AFR appears to be in check so that rules out injectors and o2 sensors.

The only thing I can really think of is poor octane. California 91 is pretty junk (I'd know, I lived there before they stationed me abroad.)

Perhaps you can try adding 2-3 gallons of E85 and see if it happens again...

It hasn't thrown a code in a while so idk which cylinder it is. But when it used to throw them it was either cyl 5 or 6. Another thing is that I intermittently get an SES (at random times not near misfires) with code 2C31 (Lambda probe front catalyst, adjustment control) and for whatever reason my catalyst, evap system, and oxygen sensor monitors always seem to be "incomplete", caused me to fail smog. Could any of this be related? I only use 91 from chevron/76.
