Is it possible you have a bad harness connection?

Since the Hazard button data comes from CAN, if everything else CAN is working (like map switching and display), then it is not a Procede harness problem. Assuming that the hazard button works as normal for switching the hazards on and off, then it is probably not an issue with the button itself. Strange one. The code for detecting the hazard button is extremely simple. It it worked at one point I cannot see why it would have stopped working.

You do get the tacho map display when you change maps right?

Shiv,

Perhaps we need some sort of visual indication when the guage mode is selected (so you can determine if the haz double click worked and then determine which mode you are in without having to just view the guages)... like maybe a tach indication of which display mode you are in similar to map display (but could get confusing since we use that for map display) or something else. I can put a different pattern in the blanked digital display than for map display if that makes it clearer.

Sounds like a good idea. Just a tach display showing display mode 0, 1 or 2 (0, 1000, 2000rpm respectively) is a sound idea. Let's do it

That is interesting, you do seem to be doing just what you should.
I'm sure you already did this but maybe do a full firmware/map update again?

Only other thing i could think of is disconnect the battery for a time and reconnect to try that??? May not do a thing but just a thought.

What you are doing looks fine. Not sure why you aren't seeing any gauge functionality. Like Shiv said, come on by sometime and we'll try to figure out what is going on.

Is that the tyre pressure monitor flashing? I am just wondering if being in that mode could cause something different to happen in the commands for the hazard light. Perhaps it is on the same CAN ID and is causing a different command sequence that results in the procede not recognising it?

Yes thats kinda why i posted it with that on. I have the MS TPMS simulator. The indash was working totaly fine saturday but on sunday it was totaly dead. My friend accidentally turned off the tpms sim when rolling up the windows. The next day indash boost gauge didnt work anymore. Ive tried with the tpms sim on and off both results are the same... reinstalled and uninstalled different firmwares with no luck.

I suspect you are onto the cause. What does the simulator do (excuse my ignorance!!)?<aybe uninstall the simulator and see if everything works.

I have no TPMS in my wheels/tires. Instead im using a Macht Schnell TPMS emulator that basically installs in the trunk and intercepts the TPMS inactive signal and sends out a everything is OK signal so as to avoid and error lights. To turn on and off the emulator u just hold the button to roll up both windows for ~5s. What I dont understand is how the gauges used to work beforehand and now dont...

I wonder if this system goes onto the CAN bus?

Vishnu team, why don't you just lower your rear wheels to 24psi until the tpms comes on. Then test it out to see if this conflicts with the taping of the canbus network system.

I notice you have about two seconds before the tpms comes on after the procede engages maps. Try changing modes within those 2 seconds and see what happens.

Honestly, we don't know as we could not find a local 535 to test it on yet. The only two local customers we now of are out of the country. What luck. But we certainly expect it to. No reports if it not working.

FIXED! No idea how it happened but it probably was changed due to the TPMS emulator I have installed. I just tried a new firmware update at lunch and the boost gauages and AF guages work as they ought to . It's pretty amazing how a feature you didnt have before suddenly became so nice to have after u lose it !
